RIP headphone users. I just about jumped out of my seat.

I’m prolly just sentimental but there was something sad about the house coming down. No doubt it had to happen, but I thought about all of the memories made in each room.

Legend has it that long after a new house was built on certain nights you can still hear the sound of a piano playing Scott Joplin Rag time classics.

Loved the inside view, actually got perspective on the 4’ bucket size!!! Thanks looks like a monster 👿

OH MY GOODNESS , Chris. When the bucket made its first crash into the farmhouse, it looked like the head of a T-Rex from Jurassic Park! That bucket is huge buddy. The camera is deceiving to the eyes, but that shot left nothing to the imagination. Awesome video.

my house is a cabin that was relocated from the center of our town right to the edge. it was already an old run down cabin when the people "discovered" the land and decided to build a town there, and the person living in it had no idea how old it was. the town was finally founded in 1792 almost 230 years ago, meaning the wood is probably over 300 years old

HAHAHA Who says you cant do laundry with an excavator!! HAHAHAHA And it gets even better with the shot from inside the building!!!! LOVED IT

The inside demo shot is the best. All quiet then BAM haha.

The next you tuber challenge should be for the excavator operators should be "using the bucket teeth and thumb, can you move an entire closet full of coats and dresses at once from one closet to another without dropping them ". That showed greater talent and skill than the no finess pushing trees over. Well done, glad I was watching when you did that. Great stuff

Your best demo video yet, Chris. The perspective from inside the house when the bucket comes crashing through is no less then spectacular. Removing a clothing rod (with clothes on it) with an excavator, Outstanding!!

I was wondering why they didn’t save more of the wood, considering the price and poor quality of lumber now. But yeah, it would take a while to deconstruct.

After 22 years of humidity in an old leaking farm house it was likely warped and not worth repairing.

Only thing lacking on that sudden intrusion shot into the house was the roar of the mighty T-Rex from Jurassic Park as he was side-eyeing someone for a tasty snack . Good lord that was tad startling! Loved it

Watching demo is always fun, but that shot of the bucket smashing through the window was Hollywood-level epic stuff.

The bucket coming through the window at 14:30 ish made me think of a door to door preacher.. "Hello! Do you have a moment to talk about our saviour Lord LetsDig18?"

Chris always enjoys these kinds of jobs. I bet that place had some history. Looks like a real sharecroppers house built by the sharecropper. Grandpa said never take the hay bales out or the barn will fall over. Glad you got some rain,,thought you would be burning down at the New Bern property.

I love watching these demo videos just as much as Chris loves doing them. I have lost count of the number of times that I have watched the old mobile home demom videos now. Simply brilliant !

Figured you'd get a lot more hate for killing the piano, having rescued one very similar I can tell everyone that sitting in an old unheated building, the strings will be incredibly rusty and will break if you try to tune it. I had to completely restring mine with all new felt and everything. But it doesn't hurt to check them. Some of the old ones had the sound board made of solid brass. Most were cast iron but if you luck out a few hundred pounds of brass is a nice score for scrap

That inside camera shot just put the size of that bucket in perspective. Awesome .

Live in a 90+ year old farmhouse. It has more sorry additions than I have fingers. All of the work was clearly performed by Mr. Haney and family, LLC. If it were to be inspected by health officials, it would be condemned. Looking forward to pushing it into a burn pit...!

shot of the year seeing that huge bucket come through the window, that just looked awesome and good advertisement for AMI... that was a quick metal recycling job ripping the old metal roof off like that, amazing to see what diesel power, a little hydraulic force and a good operator can accomplice in no time at all... that family is going to build their dream house there soon and start making memories and using the land... Justin needs new brakes, well...

The sound of that tin roof crunching up is so satisfying 😁

Even though I knew it was probably coming that bucket poking through the wall made me jump a little😀.

Our old house was a dog trot that was added on to 3 times. Kinda like this one. Heart pine in the original.
