.......the same as her Carers who nurtured this beautiful light on the world back to health for all of us to be inspired by. Species are as species are, but the HERD is the way they are naturally and IN ADDITION to how they were healed and raised by all those involved. Each and every Ele in that HERD has just that little something extra special because of where they came from, and that is directly on display when we see them all interact. They are a product of the best of what humanity has to offer, and for 2022, that is saying a LOT. God bless everyone who continues to make this all possible. They say an elephant never forgets. Khanysia, along with all members of HERD will NEVER forget who was there for them at their lowest. All the Ele's know preciously who cared for them - and how. Not only do they have bodyguards for life, each already has a seat waiting for them in a very special in heaven.

Oh goodness this precious documentary is amazing it’s just full of so many sweet tender sassy moments from beloved Braveheart I can’t believe how fast time has gone she’s blossomed from a tiny vulnerable infant to a vibrant youngster and what a joy she is!! I have to say a few of my most favorite moments were of Sunshine discovering the dam with the whole family for the first time those sweet trunk touches with Uncle Fish through the fence along with meeting Jabu trunk to trunk for the first time as well. Oh meeting Lundi and seeing it click in Khanyisa’s head that she had one elephant she could bond with as her mother absolutely made me cry how can I forget when princess was tiny enough to fit all the way into the water trough to play it was just too sweet;who can remember the days when she was about the same size as her beloved tire able to almost curl up inside it to nap and easily take it for a walk?? There’s so much to love about Khanyisa if you’re having a tough time she can easily make your struggles disappear for awhile an absolute ray of pure light hope and love. Thank you team for this beautiful trip down memory lane it made me smile laugh and cry happy early birthday Miesekind!!🐘🐘💖💖

#87 is a favorite because I've never seen it before with a very young Khanyisa lying down with her face squished into a corner and her trunk between the wood poles in her nursery. Just adorable! The one I remember the most is #45 when she comes out of the water all pink and shiny with Limpopo behind her. That one always takes my breath away because it reminds me that she's an Albino elephant and as such very unique!

So many wonderful memories, they are all great but the one with Khanyisa and Fenya RIP. touching trunks, Khanyisa in the puddle and the butterfly on the flowers, Khanyisa helping to clean up in the zebra blanket, and Lammie king of the hill.

Excellent choices of your clips. You managed to get most everyone in one clip or another, human or animal. You and the carers have done such a wonderful job seeing to her every need before turning her loose on the herd. That girl has got energy galore! They took over for all the humans and trained her to be an elephant 🐘! I commend each and every one of you. Thank you all.

25 is my favourite of these clips and the one I remember the most Khanyisa and Adine and her son at the dam. Coming a close second is 48 Khanyisa with Jabulani 45 Khanyisa bright pink and coming out of the water and 22 Fenya . It’s difficult to choose just one favourite.

One of my favorites was when she was getting brave at the reservoir and laid down in the water, including her trunk, the surrounding aunties let her go for a few seconds, and then the ones nearest her, pulled her back up with their trunks. That showed, to me at least, how loving and watchful they are of her.

With everything she has been through, from a injured baby who lost her family and herd. All of you and your helpers and allomothers saved that sweet little pink elephant. She's so beautiful and very cute but very smart trying to figure out how to open up the gate 😄 clever girl.
