Yeah. That phant has been treated so royally, so kindly. They took a hurt and frightened little phant, and turned her into a blissfully happy joyful and healthy being. Bless these caring staff for making these animals feel so safe and loved. Phants really do respond joyfully to kindness. So sad for Khanyisa's rough beginning, but thank God for how much that changed. Khanyisa was rumbling and affectionately hugging the staff with her trunk so lovingly after a couple of months of being there

She is growing up which is a wonderful thing when they weren't sure she would even survive after she was found. Now she has a big family and gas grown so much God bless her and all those who helped her get this far both human and animal

The loving memory and spirit of the beloved Fenya, her dear nursery friend will be with Khanyisa always. She will be out there living for herself and all the babies who never had the chance that she has had.

RIP sweet innocents Fenya and Mopane. Both gone from this cruel world too soon. Khanyisa and her elephant and human family honor their memory by showing people all over the world how wonderful and amazing elephants are, and that we must fight to save them from extinction.

Such a bittersweet milestone for all. The whole team should be proud of her success story. They worked so hard to get her healthy, and adopted into the herd. Congratulations, to all. Looking forward to see what the future holds.

Each of you must be proud of yourself for this great success story of beautiful baby Kahnyisa 🤩 even though it's a bittersweet milestone, we should all celebrate how much she has grown up and become healthy from the first time she was rescued and brought into HERD... I'm grateful for Adine to share Kahniysa's very last night sleep in the orphanage where she's been sleeping in for almost two years. 😴 I'm curious how she would feel for the first night sleep outside of her familiar night pen at orphanage tomorrow night, but I'm sure she'll be all right since she's going to be always together with her family💖💙💜💛❤️💜💚💙💖 I'm super excited to see how she's going to be adjusting into the new chapter of her life. I keep imagining that the first night after sleeping with the herd, you will find her back at the nursery in the kitchen making her own bottles and cooking breakfast for the carers 🤣🥰. Thank you for letting us be part of her graduation!

The way she Handel's those bottles herself now gives me so much comfort that she will adapt easily into the homestead 🤞🙏

I'm sure she knows something is happening 🥰, she can feel the emotional atmosphere

I want to send my heartfelt congratulations to all the carers at HERD and Adine and Dr. Rogers and anyone I may have forgotten (and all of her elephant family) who have made this possible. She’s the apple of all our eyes. I will miss her in the orphanage and only can imagine how much the staff will miss her there. What a transformation. It will be a learning experience for her I imagine, being with her herd 24/7. She’s a wonderful baby!! Her spunk is fabulous.

This is all so new to me I am Tears too........i found this page and I can't stop watching....the baby goes to sleep with her singing....my heart is so happy I have no words to tell the world about this woman the herdsmen and all involved on this page I am so in awe I wish I could meet Adine.....wow what a wo derful place and such amazing lo e there....God bless her .....shoooo I am out of words to tell the world about this place and all......

The 1st time I saw Khanyisa one of the care giver's was walking out to the bush with the guy holding an umbrella over her little head. She looked so cute.

I love hearing Khanyisa rumble “I missed you! I’m glad to see you!” whenever she first greets Adine. You know that’s exactly what she is saying every time!

Love this baby. I’m a tiny bit nervous, a tiny bit sad, and excited at the same time. I’m wishing for an easy and happy transition for Khanyisa Braveheart.

I saw Khanyisa with Lammy and Nungu in the beginning when Khanyisa was found and so hurted after that I was loving Khanyisa and the Herd Jabulani and all the Keeper Cariers and Adine dr. Roger and his Medical Team.I know than I shall love them allways stay in my heart. So it is. Thank you so much I travel in this journey and feel me into the family. Elephant Herd.Khanyisa, Kumbura, Bubi, Pisa, Sebakwe, Tokwe, Limpopo, Lundi, Mambo, and amazing King elephant Jabulani always thinking of Fenna.

Congratulations Khanyisa! You're graduating! This is a huge milestone in your life. Look what you've achieved vs where you've come from. This is like sending your kids to their first day of school. Kind of melancholy 😔 but its an exciting time. Yes! This will be so bittersweet. I'm worried she'll be confused and bewildered but Little Miss Sassy will probably be just fine, and she won't have to be apart from her loving family at night anymore. I can't wait to see, and also to see how her elephant family reacts to this big change!

I understand will miss having another baby ellie, but… having another means the calf lost her mom to poachers or was trapped by a snare. Now, it’ll be interesting to follow our meisiekind adaptation to her new ‘lodge’ & companions. 💖🐘

I want to thank Adine and the team for giving us this incredible view into the lives of the entire herd. I live in the Netherlands and called my babygirl meisiekind when she was small. I don't have relations with Africa maybe I heard that word somewhere. So when I heard Adine using it I was delighted. You have taken us up close to the elephants and Khanyisa's journey. No music under the video's, just beautiful real things. She shows us the beauty of the country, points out things in nature. Her laughter and love are so genuine. I am very very gratefull for all this ❤

Wonderful job caregivers! She is healthy and beautiful! Kind of sad to see her grow up. Got us thru the pandemic watching this beautiful pink baby.
