Id regularly trade my bishop and a knight to mess up my opponents position like the second i think of doing that my winning chance (against a similar elo like 30 or 40 less or more to my elo) boosted to 70%

This king didn't inherit his throne, he took the throne by fighting in the battlefield on a solomission with his queen as backup.
This is such an overlooked love story. It was the romance between the queen and the king all along.

A comedy about the king avoiding assassination accidentally running his way across the battlefield into enemy ranks to be eventually saved by the queen who charged in battle alone to save him once she finds out where he is. People doing film reviews are gonna call it "woke" but real chess players would understand the joke.

I can just see Lelouche playing as black this game, judging his opponent to be incredibly stupid (admittedly not inaccurately) and thus accidentally opening himself up to some properly nail-biting moments...only to then get a king-defended mate and promptly begin pretending like that was the plan all along. And because the man has the poker face of a legend, no one saw him sweat enough to call his bullshit.
Holy shit levy is so good at story telling. I’m so entertained each time ahaha

Within the first 4 minutes, black reminded me of someone who has an opening that they will play regardless of what the opponent does. I thought the knight move to remove the bishop was to free up F5, continuing the Philidor.
