Also this is something that would and could happen if Wrestling was a real sport. In every sport there is a margin of error that trained world class athletes still make, so it makes complete sense that something like that would just happen on occasion

I'm glad you had Bayley vs Alexa Bliss in 2017 on this list. I was at Extreme Rules 2017 and that match pissed me off. The entire feud was bad, "This is Your Life." The whole storyline was Alexa saying "Bayley can't get extreme." And Alexa was validated. I remember thinking "Why isn't Bayley hitting her with the kendo stick?" The match and feud ruined Bayley on the main roster. And she never fully recovered as a babyface. Granted I like her more as a heel now, but it took a long time to get here.

Love your lists, but you missed some major plot points with that tables match. The match was determined by spinning a wheel, and when it landed on a tables match, Big Show laughed and wished Cody luck trying to put him through a table. That storytelling alone made the finish even more fantastic. But then after the match, Big Show tossed Cody through a table in a great spot, and then Cody got up on his own accord to sort of protect his character. It wasn't a great match by any means, but it worked.

Wow, no mention of Bray Wyatt vs John Cena in the Steel Cage at Extreme Rules 2014? That was one of the biggest trainwrecks of over-booking I've ever seen. I still can't get over how bad that match was. It was sold on the idea that the cage would prevent the Wyatt Family from interfering, yet they interfered at numerous points in the match anyway. WWE booked it so that Cena would've won at numerous points had it not been for Harper/Rowan's interference, reinforcing how beneath Cena's level Bray was. Cena single-handedly kicked all three of their asses after the Wyatts had been established as the most dominant faction in the company, beating The Shield twice in a row. And then it ends with hocus pocus nonsense where a child speaks in slow motion and scares Cena for Bray to capitalize. I think this match cemented Bray's downfall from that point on because it was clear that WWE was willing to sacrifice his potential to keep Cena looking better. Awful match!

Cena vs Bray Wyatt in 2014 will always be the worst match for me. It basically showed that one man (Cena) can not only destroy Bray Wyatt but the entire family all by himself; a feat that the team of the Shield couldn’t do. Not only was the match insufferably boring, but it had one of the worst endings with that kid coming out to sing and distract Cena. That made the Wyatts die a death similar to the Nexus

Feel bad for jericho and moxley in that asylum match. The tack spot is just brutual and works for extreme reasons but then the rest of the match... eh.

If you're still undecided as to whether or not Vince McMahon was a genius, just keep in mind that he booked the #1 on this list. He sat down, looked at his writers, and said "We need to make sure the audience knows that this dumb Bayley girl is a complete loser because she's _nice,_ and that means she's _weak,_ too afraid of hurting people to even pick up a weapon." And they all nodded their heads and said "Yes boss". Oh, and AEW manages to fit more "extreme" wrestling on an average episode of Dynamite than WWE can on an entire PP-sorry, "premium live event". Yeah, I think I'll take the Blood & Guts, thanks.

So *that* was the match that ruined Bayley. Sad to see it, because I *didn't* see it. I was confused why everyone hated Bayley all of a sudden.

I think a good way to set up Extreme Rules would be: A Tornado Tag in a steel cage for both male and female A tables match for both male and female An extreme rules for male and female And the return of I Quit for male and female.

I’m really excited about Extreme Rules this year. It looks like every match is gonna have some sort of “extreme” stipulation and not only that but the stipulations correlate with the storytelling.

While the Swamp Fight definitely deserves to be in the top 5, there's no way it was worse than that embarrassing hogpen match and a Michael Cole match. As for the Iron Man match, I kinda believe it should be higher on the list due to the fact that the crowd being childish and the match being disappointing has kept another Iron Man match from happening on the main roster ever since.

I actually really like Submission matches, but you need the right wrestlers for the stip to work. Big Show and John Cena are not those wrestlers XD. What hold would Big Show have even won the match with?

It's a shame the eye for an eye match is not No. 1, not just because of the dumb stipulation and crap ending, but also if you take into account what a great match these two guys could have had with any other stipulation...
