In Victorian times and prior to even this, heck even in tribes it was just common sense to find, and marry a man of higher stature than oneself! It was expected for young women to try to upgrade their financial or social status by choosing a man of elevated financial or political/social importance. In a Patriarchal society however, they label this behavior as being a "gold digger", but this is just not the case, most women that are heterosexual have a natural instinct to find a man who can carry the burden of a family, and in these days the price of this task is a lot!!

Also just because they are going for medicine etc doesn’t mean they will be rich instead they will have debt for decades after school typically around 40-45 they are more financially stable. I was in a booth instead of at the bar, but I loved it and really enjoyed myself. If anything, just decide to treat yourself and enjoy it. The experience was worth it to me regardless of whether or not a guy approached me.

Of course there are. It's like asking are there any gold diggers that aren't evil? But ... Treat me like a wallet ... and I will treat you like a tool that I bought. Not that there is anything wrong with that, in fact I like to take care of and maintain my tools and would like the tools to stay of value to me, ie they provide some use or value to my life. Initially, don't drive a fancy car or wear designer clothes/shoes/jewelry.... Don't come off as being "rich" ~ just plain "middle class" will do 😆 LOL 😊 otherwise, you're only attracting narcissistic types! 😱 who will leave/ghost you ASAP. Protect yourself (& your family) in a sense, and don't let them know where you live. Stay SMART.
