Great line “IWC made these for the RAF, that’s all you need to know”😂.
I just bought my first expensive watch Omega Speedmaster Hesalite. My God its a beautiful piece and everything feels premium.

Congrats. I got mine this year, too. Great watch, but the bracelet leaves a lot to be desired. Too light and an arm hair terror. Switched to a tan perforated leather racing strap. Enjoy your new watch.
The feel and sound of a Reverso clicking into place; the sight of the Zenith Defy second hand zooming round in a second and the precision of the A Lange & Sohne chronograph pushers.
personally I think the speedmaster is aesthetically perfect. it's a timeless design that has looked great for 65 years, that in itself is amazing

It just looks so well put together and professional in person.
I would include the JLC reverso on this list as a watch that needs to be experienced, particularly the duoface and tribute references, the watchmaker's watchmaker. Yes, I'd also happily sit in a room with this list of watches and talk shop with you Andrew.
You were on point with every piece you mentioned. As a Paneristi, I’m pleasantly impressed that you included a PAM in your segment. Keep it up!

Fully agree with the Panerai! Small correction, each of us is a Panerista, all together we are Paneristi, the Italian plural ;-)

I am so glad that you included the VC. I absolutely love that piece and have experienced it a few times.
Fifty years ago, for my tenth birthday, I received my much desired gift - a mechanical watch. Two years later, an LCD digital. My dad told me there were watches that wound themselves just by swinging your arms as you walked, and I was astounded. So, yes - I'd love to experience all of these icons in person please.
At first, I wasn't enamored by the look of the JLC Reverso. I steadily fell in love with it. Turning the case and hearing it click is so satisfying. It's an elegant watch.
1. Speedmaster Pro cal. 321/1861/3861 2. Speedmaster 125th cal. 1041 3. Vacheron ultra thin cal. 1003 4. Sturmanskie cal. P31659 5. Omega CK 2292 HS/8 cal. 30T2CS

Omega just makes such good watches.
I love this approach. Not every watch needs to be owned, but there's something about getting a moment with some models in person that can be genuinely enlightening. For years, I wondered what the big deal was with Daytonas. Then I got to try one on and it all immediately made sense. The balance on-wrist is perfect, and the case and bracelet design fit a wrist like nothing else I've ever worn. Despite the weight, it seems to almost disappear whenever you're not looking straight at it. Is that quality worth five-figures? (Un)fortunately that's a question I'll never have to answer.
A couple of days ago I visited the Omega museum in Switzerland, I also visited the store, I'm thinking about Moonwatch. One way or another, it is an icon in the watch world
Took me a few years in the hobby before getting a Speedy. 6 months ago I bought a new (the latest version) sapphire sandwich on the bracelet. Als bought the fabric strap and deployant while I was at the boutique. I am not merely “experiencing” it. It has become my daily driver. My other watches are getting less and less wrist time. All summer, I rotated different natos. Once fall got here, it’s back on the bracelet. It really ticks so many boxes. Heritage, timeless and gorgeous design, sporty and dressy at the same time (depending on the bracelet or strap), and very well made. I’m smitten.
This is an amazing video and I’m so happy you’ve released something so special to watch. I need to see it 2/3 times just to enjoy that amazing dialogue
They get a lot of flak for being jewelers now, but Cartier definitely deserves a spot. It has the history and the look.
The omega speedmaster manual wind display back moonwatch is absolutely beautiful. It wasn’t on my radar but the moment I saw it I knew I had to have it.
The Speedmaster Pro is the only watch design that I’ve never tired of in the thirty years since I first discovered them. It still excites me when I see one on someone else’s arm out in the wild. Even if I’m wearing mine at the time.
After a long time watching Tier 1 level stuff in this segment. Absolutely masterclass👍 Even though only a fraction of people can manage to get their hands on these watches but the your magic lies in the fact that for the brief moment we all are owning these pieces, imagining them on our wrists.
I have a Snowflake and Carrera Calibre 16. Both are fine selections for this list and I'm very happy with both. I wore my Tag to a car show this morning.
Beautiful video. The macros of the Saxonia are silly beautiful. And of course, great commentary. Well done.
This is SUCH a great video on many levels. But most of all the script. Really interesting and amusing commentary, perfectly delivered over lovely watch photography. The choices themselves will always be subjective But the rationale is sound, and (fwiw) agree with the majority of them. Great job.

I actually had a slight issue with the script for the Navitimer when he said "...and kill you to death" around 9:35. I found "to death" to be superfluous.

I never understood people saying the moonwatch is a plain looking watch, it stood out to me when I saw it in goldsmiths
I'd love to come. I love these watches. Have one of them and planning to buy another this month.
The corne de vache is the most stunning Watch i have ever held. It is so charismatic and just simply flawless. A watch - and price - to die for
Well that's a 10 watch collection to get the juices flowing! And yes I'd love to be in a room listening to the discussion of why "that" shouldn't be in and why "this" should.
Love my speedy. Get more beautiful everyday ;). I would add a JLC on your list (reverso) or Cartier. Of the one you present here: Vacheron is the most beautiful one. Such a classic. Pure elegance.
Love this video, and your approach to talking about the experience of a watch. And what a tease - if you bring your show on the road, I hope you come to Toronto. I'd be there.
The OMEGA Speedmaster was my first watch as and AF pilot! Fond memories!
Very interesting showcase: to see and discuss in person would be extremely interesting. So hard to get the true on-wrist experience through a screen- no matter how good the presentation! Thanks as always for the great content!
Loved this video, what a great selection and yes I would definitely come along to see a nice collection such as this and have a chat……hopefully in Scotland👍
I think I agree in most of those....except I would think a Reverso is a must for an enthusiast. And for Patek, I personally think it has to be a dress complication rather than the Nautilus. I feel like I would have personally snuck in a Zenith Chronomaster for the Heuer

I want to hear more about that exciting paper clip/paper thickness conference. I laughed out loud. You kept the same tone in delivery. Hilarious. 😂 Great video. I might be sold on the Omega. Love the black dial.
Wow I mean just wow. The way you spoke about the A Lange Söhne was the best pitch I've ever heard
I would love to come and talk about a collection of watches, what a lovely way to spend an afternoon ⌚️🥂🇬🇧
WoW what a collection it would be 🤩 yeah having them in a room and chatting about watches would be absolute bonkers 👌
Amazing video like all the others! I also think that vintage pieces from one, if not all, of these brands could/should be experienced! They did it different back in the days.. worse.. but a lot of soul. Keep up the good content!
Absolutely....it would be part of the amazing experience.. enjoying the company and the watches.
Wow! Just added the VC Historiques Cornes De Vache to my grail list. Stunning!
Man the writing of these videos is absolutely unmatched. (Insert paper clip joke here😂)….the video is just the icing on the proverbial watch cake! Simply brilliant
Loved this video! I am fairly new to this obsession, but my tastes are right there with the watches presented here. I’m trying to get my first Vacheron! So many to choose from! A Lange and Sohne is next too!
I’d definitely would chat about all those pieces with you sir. I tried on the moonwatch and loved it since
That VC is just stunning
Perfectly listed! But I would add a Jaeger Lecoultre Reverso and an AP Royal Oak ... But I really enjoyed this video, keep it up! 👋👋
Absolute GOLD video!!! Finally a list I can 100% agree with. Thank you for doing the shopping for me. I would love to know how much the lot would cost? You are so funny and entertaining. “Paper clip seminar” lol. IWC comment, lol!! The VC has to be my favorite. Absolutely STUNNING
I have exactly the same Speedmaster you have here. It’s a pure joy and absolutely love it. The dimensions are pure perfection since it’s face lift although it looks pretty much exactly the same as it did back in 60’s. A timeless classic that’s super cool without the douche bag Rolex problem. Mine is always within 1 second a day and I enjoy winding it up 👌🏼

Douchebag Rolex problem? Query douchebag omega problem?
Another presentation that’s a joy to the eyes and ears. (Personally I’d replace the number 2 selection with a Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso tribute to 1931)
Love this channels videos!!
Я не знаю английский язык . Но благодаря современным технологиям смог открыть для себя англоязычный ютуб . Это конечно здорово ))) И вот , что хочу вам сказать - это лучшее видео из всех про часы которые я видел ! Лайк обязательно !
I’d love to be able to try all those masterpieces and discuss it with you! Great idea!
Another excellent vid from the talking hands! Loved the selection. And it was a nice touch to put the lange next to the gs at the end…😏
The A. Lange bit was an incredibly creative bit of writing and gave me a suitably sensible chuckle.
I just got my first Carrera and I'm happy to see it here :)
I own 30 or so collectible watches. This includes some rare speedsters and my basic Moon Watch gets worn 10x more than any of the others. There is a perfection in it's modesty.
YES! I would come to see These watches and chat with you.. Great video. I completely agree with you.
A great video. Nice to see one of these videos again.
Loved this video! Yes, I would definitely love to try these and many more watches.
I love how you presented the IWC
The Panerai seems perfect. Thanks for your amazing camera work. It must be very capable equipment and operator to capture the details in the video.
I laughed aloud several times during this excellent presentation. Thank you!
That VC is to die for.
Great video! My alternative to the Saxonia would be the Breguet Classique 5157 for another variation on that classic simplicity. Would love to join for a chat and give the opinion of a medical student too deep in debt to afford any of these pieces 😂
Yes, I would join you guys for a chat about these, & other, watches. Nice video.
Yes yes and yes, I would absolutely come to try on these watches
I’m a space enthusiast and obviously a watch enthusiast so I’ve had many speedmasters. I’ve always owned one since I became serious. Now I don’t own any. They’re awesome but I found myself fatigued wearing them. I lost that loving feeling and they were pricey space memorabilia. I do agree you have to experience and or own one during your watch collecting experience. I’ve owned seven of the ten brands mentioned, some the same watch in the video. My prize piece is a Lange but the 1815 three hander in rose gold. No VC or Patek. Can’t afford those. I would love to try a Nautilus but wouldn’t want to own one (probably). A suggestion you ask? A Cartier Santos. That’s an icon steeped with history and if you get the right size for your wrist, it’s an incredible add to the collection.
Glad I have all of this in my collection 😂
Good list! I would add these five watches: 1- Rolex Submariner 2- Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Duoface 3- Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 4- Rolex Daytona 5- Ressence Type 3
Absolutely brilliant video!! The VC is stunning. I have to agree with 7 of those pieces. Just tell me where to meet you!!!
I would definitely go to chat with you about watches! Love ya! The watch I think everyone should try is the Longines Spirit it’s so beautiful 😍 my favorite piece in my collection.
great list, fun to see those beauties!. Im sure if you had to make it a top 15 instead of top 10, that perhaps the easily affordable Bulova Spaceview might have been added as well as something not so affordable by Breguet, Bovet and Girrard Perregaux.
It will be impossible to please everyone but I think this is a great selection. I’d change a few though. The oyster perpetual is a little dull and I’d leave it out. The 5711 I’ve tried on and was so underwhelmed. I’m so glad you didn’t include the Royal Oak either. I’d have the Cartier tank or JLC reverso there and the GMT master II pepsi on a jubilee bracelet there as well Chatting watches is wonderful and to do so with the best watches and the most knowledgable people would be a privilege
Haha I love your figures of speech! So colorful! Great watches, thank you
“The seminar was fascinating”…😂😂 great line
Excellent video! Could not be better.
Another great video guys and I agree with this list!
No doubt I would go!! Best content on YT
Cartier Santos is a "must" as well. Regarding Rolex, maybe a date just with the iconic Cyclops date window I believe reflects better the brand.
Great selection brother, well done!!!
Now that’s a collection! 👌
I absolutely love the narration!!!!! 😂
Yes. Yes I will come and chat about those watches - that would be awesome!!!
Agree, all great pieces. However, the Moonwatch is a must.
This is an absolute great selection of watches! Would be a great joy to see all these in reality, feel them, compare them and talk about their characters and uniqueness...
I was hoping this would close with all of them in a watch box, so we could ponder what it would be like to have such a collection.
Gorgeous video. Amazing script. Captivating watches. Beautifully done.
13:05 Most definitely. If the timing was right, I'd consider scheduling a trip to participate.
Loved this! I would suggest a Black Bay 58 as well within this list. If you do put all of these watches in a room and send an invite to talk about them, you bet I'll see you there.
Before you even said the words Armstrong and Aldrin I was saying it! We where exactly on the same page with the Speedmaster, you really need to look at it through another pair of eyes to really understand this amazing timepiece!
Loved this video; you had me thinking I absolutely need a Navitimer to actually work things out… at least for a bit. Keep up the good work.
I would most definitely love to come and see them! P.S. A great video ... thanks!
Tag Heuer Monaco. First automatic chronograph, just need a few more grand to get one!
Great video. If you got those watches in a room, I’d definitely come along for a chat and a try.
Going to see these watches in a room and discuss would be fantastic !
I love this guys examples 😂
My suggested 10 watches that a watch enthusiast should experience would lean a lot on the appreciation of movements and the historical context. Bonus: None of them are current hyped watches (no AP Royal Oak, no PP Nautilus, no Rolexes, etc.) 1. A. Lange & Sohne Datograph - the chronograph movement and how this in-house movement embarrassed the top Swiss manufacturers that forced them to come up with their own chronograph movements. 2. Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Automatique - the OG of dive watches and with a high horology movement with 120 hours power reserve while running at 28,8000 bph as well. 3. Breguet Classique Complications Ref 5317 - showing the tourbillon (first patented by the founder), Breguet balance spring and overcoil, automatic winding, guilloche dial that is the calling card of Breguet pocket watches, and fine hand-engraving on the movement that can be seen from the sapphire-covered back. 4. Breitling Navitimer Ref 806 - the pilot's chronograph watch that comes with a slide rule bezel/dial. Essential tool of pilots before electronic calculators were available. 5. Casio F-91W - cheap digital quartz watch that provides one of the best value for money propositions in the watch world. 6. Credor Eichi II - dress watch par excellence, Spring Drive movement, fully hand-painted porcelain dial, hand-finished movement, and art in the design of the movement 7. Jaegar-LeCoultre Reverso Duoface - The original Reverso Monoface is effectively one of the first sports wristwatch when it was created. The duoface shows how to maximise the flipside as well by having it show a second watch face and dial. 8. Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch Calibre 321 - The reason this watch is here is the Lemania 2310 that Omega rechristened as Calibre 321. The Lemania 2310 calibre is the choice chronograph workhorse (and also showhorse when it is highly finished) of the top Swiss watch houses, including Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin. The fact that it was used in the Moonwatch that made it to the moon is a bonus. 9. Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Minute Repeater - one of the slimmest, if not the slimmest, minute repeater movement. This is as good as any as they come. Plus, fine example of high quality finishing. 10. Zenith El Primero Chronomaster A386 - one of the first automatic chronograph movements, high-beat, and celebrated. And comes with a fascinating history of survival till to-date.

Excellent list! For the spot of the cheap digital quartz, instead of the F-91W, I'd suggest the G-5600UE - it comes with a ton of additional features at only a small increase in price, most notably being solar powered. Not to mention it brings with it the timeless heritage of the G-Shock square
Great list. All the legends are here, though I’ll go for a Zenith Chrono over the Panerai, and a Traditionnelle for THE Vacheron piece

I think the CDV is a solid pick for VC (I prefer the platinum one though) - also would have been happy seeing a 1921 or Overseas. was very disappointed to not see a reverso on this list
well done on the list
Blancpain FF, Reverso, Rolex GMT, zenith elprimero, Calatrava are all a must.
The Ulysee Nardin San Marco GMT doesnt have the date change issue, you can just simply move it back if you get it wrong doesn't matter if its between 10pm to 4am which is why I love setting the time and day on this watch. Please feature the San Marco GMT! Hehe
Meet you guys and see some of the greatest watches in the world?!? That would be amazing!
