1:35 Of course graphics are important. That's the whole logic behind creating a demake in the first place. The graphics from these older consoles were never bad, the hardware limitations had the side effect of creating an artstyle that a lot of people really like, especially people who grew up with these systems. That's how we should view graphics from different generations, as different artstyles. And the artstyles in these demakes are fantastic.

It would've probably looked like the first one on Playstation, with better animation thanks to the Rom Cartridge.

FF VII has also a great NES-style demake.

Having played Half Life Alyx, then immediately following into HL1VR. I have to say. Yes graphics make the difference. While Alyx is visually stunning on most levels. HL1 is TERRIFYING. It's all your childhood nightmares come to life

Would like to play ff7 demake on nes also bloodborne psx reminds me of nightmare creatures for ps1 (cant remember if it was on N64 but i played the demo of it on ps1)

I would like to try these demake games. The first demake i played is a Fire Emblem 8 gba rom hack called Sacred Echoes, which is a demake of Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia on the 3ds.

These are a lot of great demake games.

Dead space demake is what all the late 90s games looked like when they sticked to the original quake engine like half life then there's dikitana switching out for I'd tech 2 :(😢

I would like to request can you clearly say which system the demake runs on in future, eg if it's a PS1 demake that actually runs on a PS1

It’s amazing how they thought of all these demakes , we need these to really hit consoles and into full games , why not we been craving for retro games for the longest and this would be the very best thing for us to have ports of demakes

Zelda adventure edition, most people today wouldn't look adventure but what you look at it if it was zelda style?

What demake means, I only know remake but demake is new thing for me in videogame world? 😮. Ive played Super Mario Odyssey year 2018 and always remember 2017 when nintendo switch and Odyssey was comes out, that Super Mario 2dyssey looks really fun game 2d version of Super Mario Odyssey. That video was awesome. 😆
