The problem with you flat-earthers is that you believe everything you see, so if you see a photo-shopped picture on the internet then it must be real, right? At least with science, we believe in things that have been studied for hundreds of years, some if it might be theory, but at least there's some basis behind it. Whereas flat-earthers just flat-out claim things without any evidence, and considering most of you guys (probably all) aren't very educated, it's not surprising. Look, it's fine to think outside the box, but don't do it just for the sake of doing it.

You can't zoom back into frame a ship that disappears bottom first beyond the horizon, that's another typical flat earther lie, if I'm wrong show me proof, give me a citation, anything? The stars are trillions of miles away from us, basic Science would dictate that from our vantage point they'd appear not to move at all. No matter how far the stars are. They would never be in such a constant state of stillness as observed. And finally gravity. I don't mind, I personally prefer to look at both sides and then distinguish which one makes the best logical sense if I was reading a book why would I want to read just one page and not explore the rest that's why I say you all should look into what the flat-earthers have to say just for the heck of it why not. That makes no sense. If I'm looking in the exact direction as Mt. Everest, if there is a "disappearing point", then it would be black darkness. When the sun sets, I see it touch the horizon. When it sets over the ocean, it looks like its sinking into the ocean. I thought the flat-earth premise was "It looks flat, so it is flat".

The sun actually decreases in size as it disappears, and the fade of sunlight is gradual. A sun 93 million miles away would create a horizon that would suddenly disappear all at once. Check out NASA videos that give this example.

Now density has a say in how things fall but gravity decides where things fall. Now, i’m going to say it now before anyone asks, no, the sun isn’t sucking us out of the earth because the sun is so far away it wouldn’t have much effect. Same with the moon. Now, the moon is pulled in by the earth instead of the sun because the earth is so close to the moon.

Why I know the Earth is a sphere: 1: Using geometry and assuming the Earth is a sphere I set up a spread sheet that can calculate the distance between any two points in the world given their coordinates. My calculation corresponds to the accepted distance such as airlines use. Proponents of the Flat Earth cannot produce a flat map where this can be done. The Gleason map for example calculates the equator at more than 50% longer than it actually is. 2: The sun travels across the Earth 15 degrees per hour - something easily verified. The flat Earth model's explanation of the Sun's travel can not accomplish this. It cannot duplicate an everyday occurrence. 3: In the globe Earth, the sun and moon remain about the same distance away as they appear to travel across the sky as the Earth rotates. This can be proven because they stay the same size all day or night long. I have viewed both the sun and moon and can verify without a doubt that they are the same size for rise to set. Proponents of the Flat Earth claim the sun and moon are about 32 miles across and fly overhead at a constant altitude of something like 3000 miles. They fly in a circular path above the flat Earth. Now if I look up in the sky and spot an airliner flying overhead at perhaps 35,000 feet with binoculars the plane starts out as a speck, reaches maximum size when directly overhead and then decreases in size to a speck as it flies away. The sun and moon don't do that so Flat Earther's explanation of their path across the sky is false. 4: I have done the Cavendish experiment and have proven to myself that objects with mass attract other objects with mass. I even calculated the gravitational constant to a reasonably close value. Flat Earthers have no real explanation of gravity. For one they say it is possible the whole Earth and its dome is accelerating upward at 9.8 m/s^2, which is absurd. We would reach 1.5 lightspeeds in a year at that acceleration rate. They also claim buoyancy - but buoyancy is a function of gravity. 5: I have gone to the beach on a number of times and observed that the horizon blocks the view. I set up a spread sheet that calculates how much of an object should be behind the horizon given the elevation of the observer, the elevation of the observed, the distance to the object and factoring in the accepted value for normal refraction of 15%. I have taken numerous photographs, compared them to scaled photos of the buildings and have determined that the amount a building behind the horizon can be accurately calculated based on a globe Earth. As far as I know, flat Earthers have not derived a similar calculation for a flat Earth. I have two video cameras, both with powerful zoom lenses, I cannot bring an object beyond the horizon into view by zooming in - when I look at a tall building, zooming in does not seem to bring even a foot more of the building into view. I have not observed a temperature inversion that causes mirages - they are not the normal conditions, but it is obvious that they do occur from time to time and it can be realized that they are occurring because the objects viewed tend to be significantly distorted.

G Guy I've seen Flat Earthers actually claim that the airplane's nav computers are specifically programmed by The Conspirators to give false readings on positioning just so that kind of experiment would be rendered invalid. According to them, the planes are programmed to fly in loops but the instrumentation fools the pilots into thinking it's a straight line so that it appears to be going around a globe. Note: I didn't say their explanation made sense or was without holes, I'm just repeating their response to that challenge.

Thing is, there is no gravity. The earth is floating upwards 9.8 meters per second. Don’t ask me how, ask a flat earther.

Bible Media - I'm not trying to start a debate. But first thing. I'm an atheist. Not here to argue about creation or existence. Just, the idea of eternity and heaven sounds like a vile punishment to me. Let me explain. Say we do really have a soul. Fine. You die very old and go to heaven. 6 years later you watch your spouse die. But they don't come to you. They lost faith when you died. 35 years later, your children no longer exist. Some have made it to heaven. Some haven't. At this point you're still enjoying yourself in heaven. 300 years go by. Your family name no longer exists. 100,000 years go by. Humans are gone. 10,000,000 years go by, earth gets hit by a massive asteroid. No longer supports life. Billions of years pass. The sun dies. All of the planets are gone. Now you sit. But it's eternity. So even though it's been trillions of years, it's only the beginning of your stay. All set with that. I don't fear death enough to overlook the consequences of never NOT existing. Luckily just like the earth is not flat, god does not exist and there is no such thing as eternity for a human soul that doesn't exist either.

My dad actually worked on one of the boats that guarded the ice wall. I am not supposed to be telling anyone , but he also killed several people trying to get pictures looking over the edge. There is a little mistake concerning weight. We dont weight the same wherever we go. The earth is not exactly a sphere, is wider at the Equator line and flattened in the poles. Since gravity is straightly related with the distance from the center of Earth, you'd weight a little more in the poles than what you would at the Equator. That is, of course, if my phisics professor in highschool wasnt wrong. Great video anyways. Isnt that amazing that even now we are discussing the shape of Earth?How could anyone be so...I dont know...childish to believe the Earth is flat?

The difference in distance to the center of the earth between the poles and the equator is only 20km. Compared to 6000km to the center, this difference would not even be visible to the eye. The reason we have less weight on the equator is because of centrifugal force from the rotation of earth.

If you take the object space, it will still have the same density, but it will be weightless. But I guess thats a pretty pointless argument for you since you most likely don't believe in space :/

Number 11, there would be no scientist trying to lie that the earth is round, because if the earth was flat there would be no point lying about it, as it would be very easy to prove with visual evidence. Number 12 there would be a group of conspiracy theorists that believe the earth is round without any evidence at all

99.999% (if not 100%) of flat Earthers believe the sun and moon rotate around the Earth. Do they think other planets rotate around the Earth, too? Actually, many believe outer space is fake and was created by NASA to deceive us. I don't know for certain, but I'm pretty sure many believe stars are actually the result of God poking holes in the night sky.

You actually don't weigh the same at different spots on the earth. Your weight would also appear to fluctuate if you were on a ship travelling east or west (most notably at the equator). The changes would be incredibly small, but still present nonetheless.

You can literally get on a cruise ship, sail there, walk onto the land, and see that number one, there is no ice wall. Number two, there are not hundreds of thousands of guards standing there constantly freezing their asses off, preventing people from walking into the land. And number three, the water comes right up to the shore in many parts of the continent, just like all the other continents. Who fed you this garbage?

In regards to your response.. about the water spilling out of it's freaking places, in reality it does on a flat Earth, it most certainly does.. have you ever heard of a flood have you ever lived near the shore where your house become flooded when you got too much rain and it overflowed out of the bowl out of Earth's cavity that holds the waters, when you get too much rain what does it do... it floods the surrounding areas and it feeds into the streams, you know it can go both ways depending on where the higher volume of water is coming from... And then the streams..feed into the Lakes that's why you have Dam's.. so yes the water does overflow out of the bowl and flood the neighborhoods and communities, don't you remember what happened in Texas's communities and downtown Houston. I mean come on now it's not hard to figure out, Water cannot follow the structure shape of a ball object it just physically cannot... The reason you think it can is because back in time some a****** used his imagination and said it could, and who knows that might have been Einstein's opinion.. as.. he was famous for his fantasizing s***. Yes he was excellent with his mathematical equations, but in a lot of other... areas he was as dumb as Bubblegum, and yet because he said it people believe that whatever come out of his mouth was in fact, a fact., how the hell will they know Just because he had a knack in certain areas, doesn't mean he was Superior... all-around. Your so-called gravity you say it keeps the water on the ball, even if that was true, explain why then could the water be completely sea level.. all the way around the ball that's impossible. My God if I had a blue Cadillac, I took a picture of it every time, I take it, it's going to be the same color and the same size as long as I'm the same distance away from it, it's not going to get any smaller in it's size, the portrait would remain naturally the same each time the portrait was taken. For an example if I stood 100 foot from the White House and took a picture of it and then 2 Days Later came back and stood at a hundred foot and took another.. picture of it, in your mind do you think the size of that white house with change in that picture, and I wouldn't use any zoom len and take a standard picture, so therefore both pictures should match it shouldn't be any discrepancy. It would... remain the same!! Using the same camera and the same lens from the same distance and no Zoom just a standard picture. Can't you figure that out College people!!! that's not difficult to me. May I suggest that you stop... listening to the horseshit, and start reasoning things out with your own brain, don't allow someone else to think for you, your independent think for yourself. And I already know what the reader's response is going to be, the reason why the shapes and sizes are different is because the ball is spinning at 67,000 miles an hour and it's not at one spot all the time well that's a bunch of s*** too, because if it was going that fast it would be nothing but a blur in the picture try to take a picture of a funny car at the..Racetrack and you're standing still and it's going by at 300 miles an hour, all you see is a blurred... imagine in the portrait not unless the person taking the photograph is moving 300 miles an hour alongside the picture only then would it be clear. Something going 67,000 miles an hour it wouldn't even show up in the picture and you can't understand that, shame on you! Corey......the opposite is true. Pagans know the Earth is round because our ancestors, who were pagans, knew this. The Incans, the Phoenicians, the Egyptians, the Greeks and the Romans all knew the Earth was round. It wasn't till after the fall of Rome that the Europeans began a rebellion against anything of Rome, which included medical and herbal knowledge as well as astronomical, which is what we call the Dark Ages, that the church promoted the belief that the world was flat and that God ruled that flat world exclusively. So the belief that the world is flat is actually....wait for it.....Christian. Not Pagan. You know.......I wonder why, if the flat earthers believe the earth is flat because of the bible and church doctrine...why do they bathe? Why do they go to the doctor when they are sick, and if one of them got appendicitis would they accept blood transfusion and surgery to save their lives? You see if you accept one idea of theologica then why not all of it? It was, literally, illegal to bathe in the year 1300. Why? Well God put the dirt on you. For you to remove it was blasphemy. It was also illegal to go out without a hat, you would be thought to be suicidal, to not cover your body from neck to toe, you would be considered to be indecent, and to not give all but ten percent of your yearly earnings to the church. It was a pope that decided he wanted to show his power that told everyone the world was flat. be put gaurds all along the coast to make sure no ships sailed out too far from land. anyone who refused to accept his flat earth was branded a heretic and burnt at the stake. that was the start of the inquistion that spread all over europe. once they got rid of all the round earthers they started on healers and made it illegal to help anyone who was sick. banned all medicine banned science and inventions. its why we had the dark ages. all knowledge and history that had been recoreded upto that point was destroyed. christianty is actualy pagen as they have a fictious god that is invisable and lives in the sky lol. the celtic god was visible u could see it and touch it. u can see it and feel it every day. its called gia in gailic or mother earth in english. Druidea was the celtic religion. it got demonised by the catholic church cause it was a religion of piece and living in harmony with nature no money was allowed no wars were allowed and power and control over the weak and feeble minded. Women were equel to men. no rich no poor everyone was equel. while the romans who came up with the catholic church were war mongers greedy for money and power and control of the feeble minded sheep that believe in the crap they dish out. why do u think priests call their followers a flock lol. The word pagens real meaning is someonewho lives out in the country. civilised means someone who lives in a city. The romans were the most barbarice tribe on the planet yet they called the far more advanced ppl barbarians. Rome was actualy built by the celts cause the romans couldnt even builda mud hut. the roads were built by the celts when the romans were still living in caves. Read any historical text from a non roman source and they all say the same thing. romans were a very backward tribe who hated women and preferd to have sex with young boys. the catholic priests still do that to this day.

Helen me either. I'm pagan too. For 43 of my 56 years. I am pagan, but I have enough mentality to discount spurious theories about our mother earth being flat. ::shaking head:: Pagans, more than others, know full well she is not flat. We observe. We learn. Our pagan ancestors knew the Earth was round. All one has to do is look at history and all the things written by the great masters. And the things that were built. They actually had working geared astronomicums which is a mechanism that shows the planetary rotation, our moon phases, the equinox and the solstices and also rare astrological events such as eclipses. Even the more primitive NA races knew that the Sun was the sky father and the mother was the earth. They depicted her as being a well rounded round bellied pregnant woman or animal. All people have to do is go looking, and they can find this stuff. Our ancestors KNEW. So why is it so hard for these Flaturds, um.....Flatards, to accept? And really what do they think they are going to accomplish by spewing their ignorance all over the thinking world? Well......there is the jester mentality. LOL.

IT IS A GREAT TURNKEY FOR A NEW DARK AGE

If the Earth was flat there wouldn’t even be an ice wall on the edge of the planet since the sun would heat the surface evenly and therefore the temperature across the flat surface would be about the same throughout.

This little bitty sun, 75 miles across, is very hot, but neither on the outer edges--nor in the very center of the dome does that warmth reach the cold regions like the light does. That's why it's cold there, and frigid on the outside of the dome. THAT's where your absolute zero weather is.But it's still warm up there where God is.

You better go back to the video games, sounds like you're about to get sick. We all started off where you are, and now we live on a flat earth, and many of us can even quote Bible scriptures now. It'll hit you like a low rafter in a dark storeroom. You wake up and see the stars, sun and moon, everything differently, and you wont want to go back to fantasy land, and being made a fool of. Good luck. Enjoy our videos. The dome (firmament-installed by God ) dimensions can be found here with (semi-secret) govt. reports backing it up. Yet Nasa's allowed to continue, perhaps fulfilling some real need. Just go along with them, dont be angry. But DO follow Christ now, even though some preachers dont believe the Bible yet. On the scale one, theoretically speaking, if the person on the edge of the planet would be on a scale, they would actually weigh less, due to the diagonal pulling force which would have a more horizontal force and less vertical force, all that cosine and sine stuff.
