@@BriaUpNext nah I just don’t like the trend of respecting black athletes only when they present themselves as proper or family friendly. Mitchell grew up in an all white suburb, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence in how that upbringing permitted him to being a more palatable and respectable figure for middle America. You won’t see this comments on a GQ video where another athlete showcases their tattoo, purely because of the counter-assimilative connotations

Donovan has always been a big influence in my life not just his skills on the court but his personality as a kid growing up in utah i trie to get all of his shoes and they always mean a lot to me
