DJ's suplex into armbar is kind of a microcosm of his UFC career. Doesn't get nearly the praise it deserves from most fans and pundits. It was literally the kind of move you see in movies like John wick. Thank you for giving it its props here. Flying armbars happen, it's the added suplex slam lead in that made it super crazy

That one always did amaze me. Ever since I seen that fight I've been wondering when it's gonna happen on live TV. Same thing with the back flips off the cage! That'd really be some shit to win a fight then climb up on top of the wall of the cage to do a flip and end up slipping cuz your foot is all sweaty and you fall and break your neck!

One of my favorite examples of that is Diaz/Johnson. Nates striking was the best it ever looked in that fight. Obviously Silva/Griffin as well, McGregor/Alvarez, Adesanya/Whitaker, so many good ones. You could argue a couple of those aren't great examples but I love them.

Fedor being completely unfazed by the slam followed by the submission a minute later WAS what made that moment superhuman. Dude was smiling in the ring two minutes later. That version of Fedor was something else.

Anderson had pre-UFC Matrix-style wins against Tony Fryklund and Carlos Newton, as well. Heck, even his win against Yushin Okami the first time they fought (it was declared a DQ) was Matrix-level stuff! Basically, Anderson Silva has lived the majority of his life in that flow state.

@Computer Whisperer those get struck too, if someone is managing to pull it off they just are going undetected so far and are lucky. Technically, according to KZread's rules, you'd have to edit it in a way where you're speaking over it the entire time and scenes can't be more than a couple minutes long. You basically have to turn it into a power point presentation, and even then it will get struck if you get popular enough. It's only a matter of time. All about that revenue baby.

I started watching UFC in 1994, My fav MMA moment still to this day is Rampage slamming Ricardo Arona on his head in PRIDE ...... That was a super human moment to me as a young MMA fan, still is !

I love GSP man. In a sport where people put down there opponents and trash talk to get people interested he (with that one exception lol) compliments his opponents and even points out when they bested him at times in the rare instance it happens. It just seems more genuine and even though I still like Connor Macgregor not everyone needs to act like him.

Watching what Cody did to Dominick Cruz was pretty superhuman. The last people I saw taunt their opponents that way got knocked out.

Great job with this one guys. Some of the greatest moments in MMA.

Every pro mma wrestler knows about the “flying knee.” The brilliance was in Jorge’s ruse/setup and then blitz, which gave Askren no time to think just time to react with years of built instinct.

Barry vs Congo was and is the greatest comeback in MMA history. Period.

I remember when I was teaching someone about MMA they found a gif of the randleman slam and the Convo went like this. "Is he dead?" Me "no" "Well he's gotta be knocked out right" "No" "Oh what's next, did the bald guy win?" "...yes."

So you know the song MMA on point used in their videos, I actually heard that while walking down the street every day now, and i’m 100% sure it’s because of MMA on point.
