@@KalleJon10 Sorry, but he is right. If you train in a certain way, you become accustomed to it. For Ken, it was his shoes. Better support for ankles and better balance. It is also a detriment to a real situation. If you have only trained in a level Dojo floor or large open area, and then have to defend yourself in a different environment, it will show. This is one of the reasons, we used to practice outside on uneven ground. Also why when sparring, we were usually fairly close to one another. Fighting in a phone booth theory. And trust me, you ever have to defend yourself in close quarters, such as a bar, you appreciate that training.

The ufc was basically founded by Rorion Gracie and friends, he was the one who selected Royce to represent jiu jitsu, mostly because Royce was smaller. So the speculation that it was all used just to promote Jiu-jitsu isn't completely bizarre

I agree with all of them except the Gracie one. They have been known for decades to be cheats and bullies. I have no doubt Royce and his crew did everything in their power to ensure he didn't get embarrassed at their own event.

The Anderson Silva thing is a special case , I don’t think he did / or ever would throw a fight . But I think he was bored with the domination and the media criticism and he went in not respecting Chris and not expecting him to stand and trade punches and just got caught with a punch he didn’t think was coming .

Amazing job on the editing guys; I was dying through most of this video. Between Jim Sturgess, Meryl Streep, Lucy Liu; the whole thing was a blast!

Right there with you man. I know they retcon’d it to supposedly “decide once and for all which art was the most superior” but the Gracies were wholly involved from the tournament design, fighter picks, rules, and everything down to the brand of popcorn and beer served. All to bring more attention to their art form en masse to a US audience. They were well established in small pockets in California but outside of a niche population, no one anywhere else in America could have even told you or BJJ’s existence as a martial art form.

Wanderlei never really used his BJJ as an offensive weapon, but he showed that he had a very strong defensive grappling game during both his fights against Yoshida, in the Fujita bout, and in the Mark Hunt one too. I'm probably forgetting a bunch of other instances, but his ground game is no joke.

It always makes me laugh when people think it's suspicious that multiple cameras catch random events happening as if they aren't aware that nearly everyone has a smartphone today. Also the inverse, when they suspect a suspicious lack footage for something that happened pre-2010.

I love the opening line, I think sometimes though, in a few notable cases where these conspiracies are proven and no longer are theories, that dynamic changes. People would rather wave their hand and blame things on a random universe than come to terms, with the fact that sometimes groups come together to form an elaborate conspiracy.

I believe snoozeman is juiced up. His muscle tone kind of gives it away. Look at pics of Jones when he got busted compared to now and then look at pics of Usman. There are many similarities

CandyCheese yeah, he did look super guilty. The Diaz brothers have been saying everyone is on steroids... maybe it’s true

Another conspiracy was that GSP was not drug tested in the fight against Diaz. Nick said it in a interview that the whole testing process was strange and didn’t believe that they tested GSP at all
