I would love to be in the Kid's Nation show if I had my knowledge now when I was that age. I would just live my normal life. I would have then made the myself the emperor of the nation, and make a currency out of a material such as rice in early stages of Asian cultures. It would be fun to have a nation that I could run, even if they were just children who don't understand anything. It would just be that much easier to become on top.

I’m not going to say it’s not scripted and staged to an extent, but you can’t bring people over on a K-1 visa with a big ole question mark as intended spouse and then pick someone off a list for them to marry. K-1s have some pretty strict rules and this would never fly.

I don't think that there exists such thing as "a right to assault someone back." I surely hope that people would care about equality of the sexes in some other context than demanding social acceptance for hitting women. Should you expect to get punched back if you are stupid enough to punch someone? Sure. Is using violence outside of the necessary amount to defend oneself form harm legal and should it be encouraged? No.

There was a smaller version on that kid nation show where instead it was in a house where the kids had to live for a week but the camera crew could step in when needed and there was a therapist on standby along with the fact the kids could go leave the show if it was to much.

I agree...really doesn't have anything to do with trans or not trans but rather deception. If a man went on a show disguised as a woman (not being trans but rather just disguised as in Mrs Doubtfire or the old movie Tootsie) and the producers played it off that a woman was competing I am sure at the end you are going to have some problems.

I don't understand what ran through her head accepting unless they told her that the men knew. In that case they exploited her identity and probably publicly shamed and embarassed her. If she agreed, she was also somewhat in the wrong because it also kinda makes the trans community look bad. Especially because of the disgusting stereotype that trans women only want to "trap" men into sex.

Samantha Donnelly I was confused by this too, I watch that show all the time. They date long distance before meeting but the shows producers aren't matchmaking or anything, they just find people who are dating foreigners. And it's horrible, understandable people want to not be single but people are making a drama over their relationship or lack of one. I'm a hater of the show just the fact that I think love is developed over time not within 5 seconds of meeting each other.
