    You didn't mention Indonesian Silat. I worked with an Indonesian Master of it years ago, he was about 5ft 4in. Watched him "defeat" four big guys attempting to rob our work in about thirty seconds, three were crippled and one had an eye plucked out. It was truly chilling.

    i was 'gentle' with the 5 men who attacked me i'm 5'8" 75kg and i actually let 4 of them attempt to 'immobilize' me - each of the 4 lock-held each of my limbs with all that they had as i asked the 5th if they were just kidding - he replied "do i look like i'm kidding?" i used 3 as 'anchors' throwing the 4th with my right arm like a rag doll some 6 feet into a wall,, the others were stunned, shocked, no words, no fight, no flight, just frozen threw the next guy with my left arm about the same distance, but opposite direction and into the same wall - the other two were still 'frozen' and so i kicked my right leg landing the third guy on top of the first guy #4 leg go my left leg, squatted and covered his head with both arms as i pivoted to engage #5 #5 backed off, waving his arms above his head begging me to calm down i was calm the entire 5 seconds and reminded him who was attacking and who needed to calm down

    yeah but it's kinda obvious if you think about it, since the whole purpose of silat isn't just defeating your opponent but breaking your opponent's bones while attacking or intercepting their attacks, it's definitely one of the clearest examples of "offense is the best defense" and it can be really dangerous if taught to the wrong people, that's why there aren't many practitioners and masters compared to other more famous martial arts

  • @jonathanjimmyshearman2500

    @jonathanjimmyshearman2500

    10 ай бұрын

    @@mohammeds-dg Muay thai id say is very difficult to master, and doesnt actually go any father than materialistic conduct or totally made up fanatics just the same way as kickboxing, they are good in being a little bit more aggressive, they are also very good for excercise, Muay Thai or even kickboxing i would not use for any of this reason whatsoever. They are also more simple with less techniques, style, and use materialistic way of conduct and application, arts like that are actually very fake, like if youve ever seen lots these inside martial arts narcissistic pieces of shit like Bas Rutten, or Dan Inosanto, Cobra Kai, or Jean Claude Van Damme, none of these scamming freaks really know shit about self defense and will get you hurt very fuckin bad if you were to follow their teachings or their ways, their was also a big inside on them already to, about being fake, scamming business haggling idiots, or fascinated scumbags that that think martial arts is some fuckin game or a TV show, its not, come to reality. For fighting, is more materialistic and related to competing and sports, for mixed sports or ompetitions, youd want to win with like boxing, Karate, or Brazilian Jiu Jutsu can neutralize the hell outta anyone. But fighting is just all simulation stuff, is not self defense in real life situations though. First place} Brazilian Jiu Jutsu(Grappling) Second place} Boxing(Subconcious striking) Third place} Karate(Anger and release of aggression, dexterity, and reactive defense only, Tang Soo Do karate and Tae Kwon Do uses all the qualities of this) And for self defense, the proven best defense methods or known arts, do not use the illusions of materialistic conduct or excercise use of the materialistic concience in any way. The only martial artist in history that actually proved and developed one rule past this was Lee Jun-Fan(Bruce Lee), in the study of thinking spontaneously, most concience utilized martial arts are really totally fake. 1)Grappling arts, wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Akido, and Washin Ryu Ju Justu(The other Karate), are the best for self defense. 2)Professional brawling, their is lots of these schools that will train you how to hurt someone very bad. Brawling uses total reliance on the true subconcious feral anger and does not use concience movements or motions and specializes the true way you react to any type of attacker, a aggressive infringement, a materialistic militant, a unglued or heroic boxer, a Kung foo fighter ect. 3)Drunken boxing, is proven the best art for defending oneself with minimal effort and usage of reacting thoroughly. 4)The only elder art i recommend for this, true self defense, is Karate styles from the Te systems of application, though most of still can show how to really applicate dangerous self defense, Washin Ryu, Kyokushin, Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwon Do both, Jeet Kune Do, and dragon kenpo are very very dangerous.

    Which is the most powerful? Well in terms of conflict avoidance, minimalization and resolution: Definitely L.I.N.E.. with a focus on stealth knife attacks using the Spec-Ops designed Karambit set interchangeably in LR/RL or single-handed attack depending on the situation. Efficient engagement with these attacks means your target may be momentarily startled as the killing attack is delivered. The focus is bisecting no less than three arteries in a single attack series, Linear sweep bisection of both the carotid arteries in one motion and all attacks are carried out while simultaneously severing the tendons of the firing hand when the target has a firearm and the wielding hand when the target has a melee weapon.

But that's simply begging the question, which is a logical fallacy on your behalf. Ninjutsu has an excellent history and reputation for effectiveness in combat situations. It has its faults, like all martial arts do. Which is why it's important to not be stuck in one system or method. Ninjutsu (particularly the unarmed Taijutsu aspect), teaches you how to move your body efficiently, maintain fluidity in technique, and to be resourceful with what's available in your surroundings. Tae Kwon Do has its advantages in skills involved with kicking that can be utilized effectively in conjunction with ninjutsu.

    Bruce Lee proved that his Wing Chun Gung-Fu (which developed into a martial art technique called Jeet Kune Do (a blend of ancient kung fu, boxing, fencing, judo, karate, taekwondo, muay Thai, kickboxing, and philosophy) hence was the most powerful and deadly. Modern-day JKD is a preferred method for many parts of the United States military and Navy Seals. I don't think a Krav Maga good fighter would stand out or beat a Jeet Kune Do good fighter as well. JKD style simply was just too smartly made to be beaten, it is a whole complex of styles and techniques. For example, with JKD you can switch the boxing/taekwondo/judo whenever you need it in the battle, hence there are no limits. No, you can't beat that with proper training. BE WATER, MY FRIEND! I think there isn't a definitive best one. No martial art was developed to be useless, and not one will ever guarantee you to be invincible. If you think a martial art is useless, it's likely you're judging by anecdotal evidence of a bad practitioner, a bad teacher or one or two fights where the practitioner(s) loses. It's best to learn from as many styles of fighting you can, blend the knowledge together and round out your own way of fighting.

    Krav Maga is the only fighting discipline ever really mentioned to any extent on the internet that IS NOT a sport. Krav Maga is not designed as a physical conditioning tool, or a mental discipline tool etc., it is a military oriented attack, defeat, even kill, at all costs with anything at hand that can be rendered a weapon. As such anyone claiming to train people in it is generally a scammer. You get people that have been trained as part of their service in the IDF sometimes offering a seriously watered down version but that's all it is, a seriously watered down, almost joke of a discipline that has little in common with actual Krav Maga!

    Tai chi, wu shu and wing Chun are more of dance routines than martial arts. Jet Kun do is an average martial art. The down side being it doesn't prepare you for a long fight. It was designed to ko your opponent with 1 or 2 punches, not realistic on that. I would put it in the same class as karate. Judo is a very good martial art and jujitsu and BJJ are excellent. Boxing and Muay Thai are excellent as well, they are pillars to train with. The best martial art is a mixture of boxing, Muay Thai and one of the grappler either jjts or BJJ or judo. 3 of those then you are good to go

    krav maga can be usefull for totally normal man but as for combat sport (no weapons and skilled fighters) it would end within seconds.. thats probably why noone is using krav maga in MMA for instance because it is "for the streets" but if you meet an skilled muay thai or an grappler well you better run. and as one quote says that goes really well with krav maga: Everyone has a plan till they get double leg take-downed. so if i should compare martial arts as two skilled warriors fighting without weapons, sambo is probably one of the best, cos it is like mma, but made by russians :DD

    I like how the Krav Maga clips were all demonstrations and not actual fights or training fights. For the other martial arts, there were sometimes demonstrations, but since Krav Maga is « the 1rst » according to the video, it would be more convincing if we could watch a real opposition. Krav Maga sure is an effective self-defense system (regarding the most popular and widespread form), but what is shown makes Krav Maga seem like way better than the other martial arts (since you see them fighting multiple ennemies easily and quickly winning 1v1 situations) to the untrained beginner, but it is obvious when you have enough experience (I’m brown belt in jiu-jitsu) that these are demonstrations, and the opponents don’t show any reflexes that any average trained martial art practitioner has, and their moves are always very predictable (although there are few seconds where we can’t be sure about that). What I want to say is: Krav Maga is not the ultimate martial art, every martial art has its pros and cons, and some are better than others in real situations (for example Tae Kwon Do sucks when there is not enough room for kicks, and when you are not a really advanced practitioner, it is really ineffective), but no one is far in front of all the others, it all depends on the person who practices. What I don’t like about what is shown in the videos about Krav Maga is the fact it seems they never « fight », I never practiced it, but I’m afraid it gives too much confidence to naive beginners.

    I get what you're saying, but I really doubt there are many recordings of real krav maga fights out there if any. To begin with, the idea behind krav is not so much "fighting" as "killing." Secondly there are no competitions for it because of what I said previously, and I'd say well over half the moves would be banned in competitive fighting as it's a system littered with "dirty" moves. Stuff like fish hooking, strikes to the groin, eye gouging, hair pulling, these are frowned upon in most instances of fighting, but they are encouraged in krav. The motto of krav maga is after all "By any means necessary." I also disagree with you regarding "Every martial art has its pros and cons." I mean, yeah, technically it's true, but if say something like, let's say combat Tai Chi has 99 cons and 1 pro, is it really worth focusing on that single thing it may be competent at? Taekwondo is good against novice fighters or if you catch people off guard, but it could never stand against boxing for instance if both fighters were of the same level. This goes for most Asian martial arts too, and you can plainly see it as in pretty much every fight ever recorded they almost always abandon their form and just start boxing, essentially. The second you abandon the form that you're made to practice for thousands of hours, you're no longer using the discipline you studied. Some high level practitioners have invented their own moves to address its shortcomings, but at that point, can it really still be called taekwondo? Bruce Lee saw the many weaknesses of Kung Fu and attempted to fix it, thus creating Jeet Kun Do, what one might call proto-MMA, but it was certainly no longer "Kung fu." P.S I went back and watched a bunch of "Boxer" vs taekwondo fights, and in about 2/3 of them the fight would always be paused as soon as the taekwondo practitioner was in trouble, and in probably at least half of them they weren't even real boxers, just chumps off the street being labelled as "Boxer," probably to promote taekwondo superiority. If you have no boxing form, you're not a boxer, and if you have no taekwondo form, you are not a taekwondo user. I really, really despise pretentious BS; trying to make something look better than it is through dishonest means.

    @@abrahamthebewildered1448 I 100% agree with you, and when I said every martial arts has its pros and cons, I didn’t mean every one is equal, I didn’t really develop the thing about Taekwondo, but you wrote what I thought about it’s efficiency in real fights. Do you think jiu-jitsu is effective in real fights? (not BJJ, but the « traditional » jiu-jitsu, which makes you able to fight without needing to go on all fours) Also do you have an idea why BJJ seems more popular than traditional JJ? Because for me the traditional one seems more complete, thus more versatile, although BJJ is more specialized. I mean, you can pretty easily learn BJJ techniques when you practice traditional JJ (because obviously BJJ practitioners tend to dominate me when fighting « on their territory »), but it would be hard for a BJJ only to learn « judo » techniques. Lastly I want to make something clear: Judo is a « competitive » form of traditional jiu-jitsu, and its creator (Jigoro Kano) removed a lot of what was not « beautiful » and « competitive » from jiu-jitsu in the process of creating judo. Which is why there is no form of boxing in judo. BJJ is also derived from traditional jiu-jitsu. After WWII, Japanese migrants who set home in Brazil transmitted traditional jiu-jitsu to their descendants, who then did the same with the next generation, etc… They also popularized it to the Natives (I think). With time, they specialized in Ne waza (groundwork). After doing some research, that is not the « official story », but my sensei told me that (and he also explained me what I wrote earlier about Judo).

    Thats the problem that krav maga has, the training method that is more common nowadays doesnt have sparring which is crucial to learn hiw to fight. People say that the tecniques are too deadly for sparring but thats such a terrible excuse. If you dont train your tecniques under preassure you wont be able to use them in the moment of a fight because you will be full of adrenaline and you wont be able to think straight. On the other hand a boxer that is constantly sparring will learn how to use his techniques against a resisting opponent to the point it becomes second nature something that a Krav Maga practioner wont be able to do with his "deadly" techniques.
