Ronda rousey and angle vs triple h and stephanie. Everybody had low expectations for the match, but it turned out to be the best match of the night. I honestly enjoyed it more than aj vs shinsuke.

I honestly expected it to be not only the best match on the card but one of the best matches wwe could’ve ever pulled off in years outside of nxt but instead it looked more like if the two just had an average smackdown match to work a new angle (which they pretty much did)

The worse part about that match for me, is the burners they had in NJPW. They seemed forced to wrestle in WWE style instead of just letting them do what every fan wanted

I was there at WM32 for Lesnar vs Ambrose. Words can't describe the disappointment from the fans in that stadium...

That WrestleMania 20 Brock Vs Goldberg was brutal. The crowd pretty much cheered for Stone Cold Steve Austin and not the competitors

Problem Number 1 - Why have Charlotte in this Match, nobody asked for it.... Problem Number 2 - Wrestlemanias these days are way too long and being in the main event nowadays means you have to go out there and perform for a crowd that just wants to hit the traffic and get home. Becky ronda and Charlotte probably knew they gonna get a tired audience and still to their credit tried their best. Problem Number 3 - The botched ending.......well i think the ref also wanted to go home and sleep which i can’t blame him for.

Nah, the placement/timing of the whole event was worse than the match itself. Nobody would have been up for any match after an 8 hour show.

I was there for that show. Could've ended once Kofi won the title. I was a huge Becky fan. But even that couldn't keep me or my poor wife awake. We were even there for the pre-show. An 8 hour show is totally unnecessary. Wish us luck in Tampa next week!

The best thing about that match was the backstage brawl the 3 had before the ppv. Being arrested, that kick through the window, all of that was better than the actual match

The only two things I remember from that match are the botched finish and the scary tumble rousey took through the ropes to the outside (I think it was this match, could be wrong)

Austin vs HBK being on here is a surprise for me, that match is genuinely one of my top 3 favourite mania main events

Actually prefer their King of the Ring match as the Wrasslemania 14 one was too convoluted with Tyson etc, plus, even though he worked thru it, you could tell the back of Michaels was giving him all sorts of problems.

I disagree - it had to happen sooner or later and if you're going to have a streak ended then you want it to happen against a legit beast like Brock. It's just like how Goldberg's streak had to end sooner or later, so what better way than to a legit monster like Nash with some help from a cattle-prod wielding Hall. The losses were constructed in a way to protect both Taker's and Goldberg's characters. They could lose in that manner and still look like the legends they are afterwards.

AJ Vs. Nakamura is even more disappointing when you consider their Wrestle Kingdom match is one of the best matches in the history of that event.

I don’t agree with #3. it wasn’t perfect o agree but it still launched the Attitude Era Nakamura and AJ Style was far more disappointing

There has to be hype for it to be disappointing. The racism angle didn't give it much anticipation. Plus Triple H hit a Pedigree then pinned T about an hour later.

I don't know why Wrestlemania 2000 gets so much stick. I enjoyed TLC, the Hardcore battle royal, the fatal 4 way main event and Benoit vs Jericho vs Angle.

Ambrose vs Brock should’ve been so much better ..

That HHH-Jericho match is better than it gets credit for, but between the stupid buildup and the Hogan-Rock match they didn't have a fair chance to shine.

I feel like the biggest problem with Ambrose vs Lesnar was that nobody thought Brock was going to lose. I was just sad for Dean because I knew it was a waste of time. At no time should it feel totally predetermined of the result of a Wrestlemania match.

Yeah the moment it becomes obvious that the result is a foregone conclusion is when a promotion has failed in it's main task of making the audience forget that it is all a work and predetermined. When you watch wrestling, you really try and forget that it is all a show - a suspension of disbelief - anything that reminds the audience of the kayfabe nature of the industry is an absolute disaster from the promotion's perspective.

Yeah, you don't expect him to win, but throw in a lot of hard-core gimmicks, it suspends disbelief and makes you buy into it. They shouldn't have booked it if Brock wasn't game for any of it.

Austin vs HBK was an amazing match. I don't care if it could've been better, what we got was satisfying enough for me. It is by no means a disappointing match IMO.

Any match Michaels was in prior or after 10 on any show was artwork. He could carry dogshit and make it look good. One of the few who can.... This list is retarded. Michaels vs Austin is literally a masterpiece and one of Michaels best performances even with the back injury. It should be every match ever on any card from around 2005 forward, minus about 10 matches. Fuck WWE.

My hopes were so high for Styles vs Nakamura, especially after WK10. Never again.

Ambrose vs Lesnar wasn't at the fault of Ambrose. He told Brock that he could do anything to him and Lesnar said nope.

The buildup between HHH and Orton for WM 25. will forever be my favorite feud of ALL TIME. Bald randy orton was a menace. That being said, The crowd was probably puffed out after shawn and taker. i know i was, and couldnt even get into the 2 World title matches.

Now I see why you ranked every wrestlemania match, because you got all these other videos for free.

Orton vs Triple H at 25 should have been a No Holds Barred Match, given the intensity of the build. but instead they went the complete opposite direction and it definitely suffered for it.

Ambrose and Lesnar was what it was always meant to be. 6 years later. Ambrose is 6 years ahead of where he was then.

Literally got disappointed with Ambrose vs Lesnar. The match literally had the best hype leading to Wrestlemania, best promos as well. Turned out to be just a Suplex City shithole with Ambrose barely getting hands on Lesnar. Also I don't think Lesnar vs Taker on WM 30 was disappointing but I would say shocking, the huge plot twist was just there but sadly I kinda also wish the Streak wasn't broken.

Not that i have a lot of hope considering WWE's record but Cesaro vs Rollins at mania looks to be what Styles and Nakamura could have been, if they get given the chance. 2 Experienced yet still prime athletes, familliar with each other and their styles, putting on a wrestling clinic in the ring. Give them 20 minutes and let cesaro win clean, you could have a match of the year candidate.

To me HBK vs Austin shouldn't be on here. It wasn't as good as it could have been, but definitely wasn't bad or disappointing enough that I'd think to put it on a Most Disappointing Wrestlemania Matches list. Was more surprised the WM 31 Match was really good. I think the WM 35 women's main event was good, just the finish was bad/ left you with a sour taste in your mouth.
