I’m curious if Preist was supposed to kick out there or if the sound cue was off. Either way, Priest should have adapted and kicked out if that was the case. The thing that stops me from thinking it was a missed music cue is that that’s kinda dumb as a reason for the ref to stop counting during a pin attempt. Would have made so much more sense if there was the kickout and while the two are wiped the music hits. I think the most likely scenario is that Priest missed hearing the first count and didn’t know it was at three, would explain why he didn’t try to adapt if the music cue didn’t hit too. They edited it out of the KZread clip, so it was clearly a botch.

WASTED MONEY IN THE BANK It was completely unnecessary to make Drew win MITB and fail his cash in. The briefcase could have gone to Jey or LA Knight, guys who would make respectable champions. Or just let Drew cash in at next year's Clash At The Castle, if there'll be one.

It made complete sense for him to be screwed, the punk/drew rivalry is so heated that he was willing to cost him a championship. We already have a MITB chase story with tiffy , do we really need two?

they used it to involve seth in the feud in a natural way. Seth is pissed Punk cost him the possibility to challenge again for the title.

Completely agree, the briefcase means nothing coming second to a cheap joke in the 'Punk screws Drew again' storyline. They could have had Punk stop Drew cashing it in if they wanted to further this storyline but instead they screw over the ladder match and the title match. Adam and Andrew saying they love this, I'm the opposite. It's lazy and predictable.

Nobody else were gunna become champion. Jey will be in Bloodline stuff very soon & Knight will likely be US Champ at Summerslam. Too early for Hayes, Gable will be in Wyatt Sicks stuff & Andrade needs to be built up. Urgo, Drew was the only reasonable winner and they used it to further a story. You still have a briefcase in Tiffany.

Honestly I'm starting to lose interest in Punk and Drew. Its the same thing over and over. Drew comes in on business, Punk fucks him over. Drew retaliates. Knocks Punk down. Seems to forget about Punk. Goes on business. Punk fucks him over. Drew retaliates. Again and again. Its starting to make Drew look weak because he can't get rid of Punk and its starting to get predictable on Punk's end. Hopefully an inclusion of Seth will make things less repetitive.

@@handleunavailable It doesn't feel like its escalating at this point to me. The highest escalation points were Wrestlemania and then McIntyre saying he was quitting and then beating Punk bloody. But then Punk comes back *again*. Punk should have stayed away longer to sell it better. At this point McIntyre just feels like a clown who can't put someone away for longer than a two weeks.
