All in the south, the north has loads to offer - York, Durham, Berwick upon Tweed Buxton, Chester. Ambleside, Haworth just to name a few. I have even heard Londoners say that people are more friendly up north, especially in Manchester and Liverpool.

England is beautiful, This is the one country that I want to visit some day.
I agree with many of the comments below, and had to stop at Salisbury which he pronounced as it looks rather than 'saulsbury'
hope someday, will be here to see my ultimate dream places
Hi bro.I'm from Russia.Thank you for publishing, England is a good country, I lived for one year in the city of Colchester, I visited Ipswich, London, Manigtree, Clacton, I was surprised by the hard work of people who work on the land, farmers, they start work at 4 o'clock in the morning, in the evenings I did not see idly inadequate walking citizens. I really liked the architecture, beautiful churches in the Gothic style, people are harsh, but sympathetic, ready to help, in some way reminded me of my fellow citizens from Russia. I respect the fishermen and village workers, drivers, sailors, they are all worthy citizens of their country. Surprised by nature, with a large number of rabbits, hares, foxes and pheasants. Rivers and ponds full of fish, managed to go fishing, caught large perches, roach and carps. There is a person whom I respect from all of English history more than anyone else, this is Oliver Cromwell, that person who in many ways made England what it is.

It is always nice to hear opinions about our country from other nations. Your words were so eloquently put and you are always welcome here in the UK! One day my partner and I would love to go to Russia. We spend a lot of time in Croatia with out Croatian friends and know some of the Hrvatska language. When I hear the Russian language on tv , I recognise some words !

@Ural-lebedev Kind words for England but sadly, you are amiss when it comes to Cromwell. He was a traitor to England and her people, nor forgetting that hatred he had for the other nations of Britain. Cromwell was a sell out. He was under the employ of Dutch Bankers and it was his job to execute the King so that a certain religious 'people' could gain access to England, having been 'removed'. They came back in and what followed saw the destruction of much of the country, the black death (they were responsible), the great fire of London (again they were responsible) in order to burn down central London so they could create their banking empire with the City of London, which essentially is the British Empire. The first national (private) bank appeared towards the end of the century and the rest is history. Had there been no Cromwell, there would have been no William of Orange and change of royalty. Had there been no Cromwell, there would have been no allowing back in to those 'people'. Had there been no Cromwell, there would have been no private banks, no British Empire, no conquest of Africa, Asia and India, not forgetting North, South and Central America. All of the world's problems, pretty much go all the way back to Cromwell and the 1649 revolution and execution of Charles Stuart, the true indigenous bloodline of Britain's nations. He was a truly, truly evil man, guilty of regicide and treason.

There are 100s of towns like this in the UK. These are just a handful and not necessarily the best. None of these would be in my top ten.
IMO the most beautiful town in England is Keswick in The Lake District Cumbria, beautifully clean and has everything you need, great shops, pubs, cafe's and restaurants and just a few minutes walk from the town centre to Derwent Water with stunning scenery.
how lucky I have been ! 6 years in Oxfordshire!! I love Dorchester and Wallingford..between Oxford and Cambridge..i love them both... England is in my heart for ever...
There's so many beautiful towns up north, Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland! As always London/ Southern centric. If you're touring the UK please consider other places. Here in the northeast theres Durham, Hexham, corebridge, Alnwick, Morpeth to mention a few. They have Castles, beautiful buildings, charm, lots of history, stately homes with beautiful gardens, place to visit for Harry Potter fans.

Quaint is a word more fully understood when you see places like this......Marvelous!!!
Colchester is an extraordinary town and has a village feel and even though the Queen decided to make it a city just before her death it will always be a town to its inhabitants. History and a unique 2 street set up make it a fun town to live in. So near beautiful countryside and coast and yet easily accessible to airports and Europe.
Sudeley castle and Winchcombe are on my must see list thanks to you. Cheers!
Thank you for naming these beautiful old historical towns
There are so many amazingly lovely picturesque towns and places in UK. It is livetime to explore and enjoy. We did each weekend trips around where we lived never had enough and have huge sentiment clearly.

Great video. I spent a few hours in Whitstable once. I ate some seafood, walked the pebble beach and shopped furniture in the 2000s. Great to be outside London for a bit. Worcester cathedral city great as lived briefly when I first moved out near the cricket ground flood plain .Also, there are other towns nearby Worcester too, if you like to optimize your travels for good days out like Cheltenham, Malvern and Ledbury .

King John and Prince Arthur, who should have been king if he hadn't snuffed it and left us with Henry VIII. You also failed to mention the Battle of Worcester, when the future Charles 2nd fled for his life. You should read that story. It puts most Hollywood films to shame. It is Saulsbury And why do you people only look at the pretty? I would recommend Ironbridge, The Black Country Museum and Quarry Bank Mill to see how ordinary people actually lived.
