the butchered the books beyond recognition for foundation. i knew it was always going to be a hard book to turn into a show, esp these days but that thing is horrific c/t the books. i think maybe it was fine as a stand alone if it had a different name.

My biggest problem with Silo is perhaps using the wrong cast. I read the books and while it was interesting to see it finally come to tv there was something that felt entirely off about it.

@@bradevans7546 Foundation Severance Silo For All Mankind ^ These shows are really good if you love Sci-fi. “See” with Jason Mamoa was also surprisingly good. “Invasion” there is a reason this show only have 6.2 on IMDB. I watch it because i am addicted to Sci-Fi, but the acting in that show is not the best. “Extrapolations” is actually better than the 6.1 rating it has on IMDB. 🙆🏼‍♀️

And Constellation - For me number 2 after Severance by now.

I prefer Silo over Invasion. Constraint space and pressure are more intense than open area conflict.

For all mankind a great watch 4 great seasons so far.

Severance, For All Mankind, and Foundation are all S-Tier television! Worth the Apple + sub just for these three. Silo and Constellation are also both really great. Not quite at the level of the previous mentioned, but solid A-Tier shows.

Apple does have the best sci fi shows but the list here is in reverse order of the best shows.

I agree with your picks but not the order of them. Foundation should not be number 10. I would put Invasion at 10 because it is two episodes stretch into eight; too slow for me and almost boring. Foundation should be in the top five with Silo. See was also good. But I must include, I have not seen all your picks (1) and some did not pick my interest to continue watching ( fell asleep). I will give them another try. Samuel Jackson series did not watch; but, I will now. Thank you

Boy oh boy, there are some great ones in this list. A few I haven’t seen yet so I’m ready for a weekend of viewing, yes, my viewing weekend lasts longer than 11 minutes.

I’m going through this list and have really enjoyed silo and For all Mankind so far.

Apple Tv does Sci-Fi soooo damn well, so unfortunate that there is almost no publicity for their shows.

Even though I am a Sci-Fi aficionado I confess that with the exception of the first season of “Invasion” and “Shining Girls”, I tried but was unable to watch “See”, “Silo”, “For all Mankind” (btw, did I really hear the word “diversity”? )” and “Severance”. But I'm going to try watching “Foundation” again and I'm going to give “Monarch” a chance. And, thank you, I plan to watch “Ptolemy Grey” and “Doctor Brain”, who were off my radar ;)

In your section about "For All Mankind" you should not have mentioned that the Soviets got to the moon first -huge spoiler!! Seeing it happen in about the first five minutes of episode 1 really got my hooked on the series.

I don’t know. . .I would have Severance and Silo fighting out for number one and two, but Severance is definitely up there.

"for all mankind" is over and all other are unwatchable. why is it so hard to launch something "the Expanse" level or at least Chinese version of "三体"?

Sadly the Foundation TV series is so far devolved from the books base. Th3 books are dated but fantastic. The TV, is gender swap woke rush. SILO’s first season however very close to its book first book in its one season a fantastic watch. Invasion all I will say is you can’t do the breast stoke in space.
