Incredible. Why can't these short films be shown in cinemas before the main feature, like a trailer? Puts big budget Hollywood to shame. Well done 👍👍👍👍

Why can't these short films be shown in cinemas before the main feature? Puts big budget Hollywood to shame. Hard to explain why someone needed to pay twenty bucks for a two hour formulaic blockbuster, when they enjoyed the five minute short more. (Besides, do people go to cinemas as much? More eyeballs here, likely.)

When's the last time you saw a big production make a 4 minute episode?

Studios have deadlines they have to have things done by a specific time. KZreadrs don't they make content on their own time. It's not like that in the real world. No disrespect to the artist they did a great job, and perhaps they do have the skills to work in a major studio. But again they probably took a lot longer on this than a studio would have. For a 4 minute scene like this would it would cost a hefty sum and the longer it takes to do the longer it costs.

so right, I saw new trailer for the King Kong movie and They got Godzilla running! like a bloody human along w Kong and the CGI looks awful. God
A 4min 37sec video that’s better than all of the last 3 Star Wars movies combined.
I was smiling the entire film. This is every sci-fi I want to see wrapped into 4 minutes of pure cinema
Fantastic production quality and intriguing story! Great job everyone, looking forward to seeing more.
well that was seriously impressive. Like a hybrid between a better (much better) Prometheus in the first half and a "Love-Death-Robots" episode in the 2nd half. Massive congratulations to the (small!) team making such an expensive looking movie. Straight onto episode 2 for me.

BlackMilk Studio x Oats Studios = SCI-FI PERFECTION! I I hope you get picked up by one of the streamers to do a Sci-Fi show. I miss The Expanse ... a void needs to be filled!
Rule #1: Always be nice to the indigenous lifeforms whenever visiting a new planet.
If you don’t make CG cinematics of this quality, then there’s no point in doing graphics at all)). You are a great role model! subscription!
Stumbled on this and thank you to the KZread machine for putting in my feed. Excellent use of 4 minutes to establish theme, intent and suspense. Can't wait for Episode 2!
Outstanding work- reminds me of the the stuff Oats studios used to produce ( Neill Blomkamp needs to hurry up with District 10... ) + a bit of Love, Death & Robots. Space Geezer vs Cthulhu... :D

"sharing the richness of our culture with them" yeah, we're fucked. But there is still hope, this series proves it. Thank you.
I LOVE this series. The stories, the acting, the settings, the emotions evoked, and the sound and cinematography capturing it all so beautifully and subtly. I was immediately transfixed and transported into time and place. I want MORE. Each of these vignettes can stand on their own as a full-length film, but somehow through Macgregor’s magic he as hypnotized and taken us on a thousand sun journeys in a matter of minutes. So well done! Again, I want much more.
Breathtaking visuals, brisk pacing and a simple, functional story. An ideal short film. 90%

Yes, you can tell a gripping story in under five minutes. Also kudos for the high level of technical skill demonstrated.

Great designs for the ship and devices e.g., the scanner thing. Excellent cinematography! Its amazing how most of your graphics etc are much better than some big-budget productions. I reckon carry on and you'll do well! Cheers and Thanks! Thumbs up!
I've watched the Law Zero and KORE concept trailers more times than I can count, this is more of that gritty realism I love. Thanks MACGREGOR!
Magnificent! The suspense was unreal for the few minutes of action. So many "whys" were opened, establishing potential for multiple story-lines. The CGI put on their knees multi-million Hollywood productions. And there was even a lesson at the end - don't mess with Cthulhu's kids :D
Very impressive stuff. I've never heard of Blackmilk before, but I'm a fan now. Hopefully you guys can get a deal with Netflix.

Great effects, great story! Much better than anything from Hollywood or Disney.
Love it. Effects are solid. I especially like the sound design and music score. Looking forward to more from this series!
The interaction of weather particles with the ship and the illusion of size are incredible! I like the concept of the ship and its weapon, no slow movements like in the big budget films. Blackmilk Studio should be the next FX giant!
Leaves Disney in the dust. Great work.👍

I hope Ruairi Robinson will be able to make his ambitious planned feature The Leviathan, and this shows he could easily make an Alien film or the Gears of War feature
Dear god this looks fantastic!! How did you achieve this level of visual? Seriously, this is better than almost everything in cinema today. What I especially liked was the snow/ice sticking to the suit. I know it's just a small thing but in many movies or series when they use artifical snow they miss these details. Again, excellent work and thank you for sharing this.
Great job everyone!

What an amazing piece of quality work.
I'm super impressed by the production, doesn't remotely look like a "budget" film! I could see something like this as a nice bumper on the SciFi channel between shows. Also makes a nice resume for your team to get funding for something bigger, good fortune!

It takes only one mistake, and the conqueror will turn on its heels and begin living only to survive. Awesome video!
