Sorry to hear this Emmy 🙏🏼 Hope you’re back to normal soon! But this routine will most likely help 🫶🏼. Also make sure to do the ankle mobility test in the introduction every now and then - this will give you a good insight into where your injured vs. your normal side is at.

Thank you for this video! KZread had recommended some of your other videos (morning mobility routines), and I have been following some of them for a week so far. In most of your routines you have at least one exercise that requires a deep squat. So far I am unable to get further than horizontal, so I thought to check whether you had anything to improve my ankle flexibility. I have just followed this one today, I will keep at it every day to hopefully see some improvements. Thank you very much for your content! It brings a lot of value to many people.

Yesss - Tests sind super wichtig, um Status Quo und den Fortschritt zu ermitteln und sollten meiner Meinung nach öfter im Training oder auch im Kontext Mobility eingesetzt werden 🙌🏼😊.

Your dorsiflexion sucks? Mine, too! I’ve got “flexion resistance” in the anterolateral region … I’m guessing from scar tissue and many a twisted ankle as a kid. If only I’d stayed barefoot. I don’t know that I can fix this issue, but I’m not going to stop trying! I wanna get a shoot the duck (on skates) or pistol squat (on feets)! 😜 Danke Julia.

Haha that‘s an interesting thing to have in common 🤣 well, intra-workout ankle mobility seems to improve through mobility exercises but keeping this progress up in daily life is much harder.

when i squat, rather than my ankles, my hips hurt so much for me to keep my feet flat on the floor. any tips for that?

Sure! :) I have a few hip mobility routines on my channel as well as general lower body routines for your hips to get strong & flexible 🔥.
Sorry, it made no difference for me. I think my footbones are in the way.
