What's going on everybody Rob here with a little video on this 10 hp Kohler engine. I have a 1973 wheel horse tractor with a 10 hp Kohler engine. The Kohler engine was not getting any spark to the spark plug. Everything else was good even the points were adjusted. But when I found out after I had the engine on the tractor is the points were not cleaned as in the points were not grounding to the engine block. I had to remove the points the set screw on the points and took the points off of the engine to clean in saying that the engine block in the back side of the points in order to create the ground. That was the only thing causing the no spark on this 10 hp Kohler engine everything was right everything was proper. If you were to adjust the points or check the points you would see that they were proper at .020. Although troubleshooting and going back and forth I realized that the points were not grounding to the block. In this video I explained the points on the 1973 wheel horse tractor I explained what the procedure is and what the points are supposed to do on the 10 hp Kohler engine.
