My summary: 1. Routine Maintenance "dreams and achievement evolve through small regular size steps" 2. Embrace Immediacy "when something need your attention, don't save it for later"because delaying something once usually means delaying again and again 3. React Thoughtfully "that short little pause let you see through your gut reaction and make decision that you'll be happy tomorrow" 4. Stop your scrolling "You may not realize how big of an impact this bad habit has on your lifestyle ,not only is it a giant waste of your time it actually drains your MOTIVATION,CONCENTRATION,& your PRODUCTIVITY" 5. Embrace the old "you're going to turn old things into new and exciting things. So don't spend your life searching for the next best thing take a hard look at what you have" 6. Remember your achievements "Just take the time to embrace your achievements.Everyday remind yourself of all things you do right" 7. Change your workspace "change of any kind can be new exciting and fun" 8. Small benchmarks small victories make you satisfaction and motivation to do something big and making that day become your productivity day, so before you finish breakfast make sure you already have one or two little victories 9. Give compliments "Genuine compliments are a great way to connect with new people. More importantly giving people compliments train you to speak your mind" 10. Commit to relaxation "Enjoy your break to the fullest , and that way when it's time to work your brain will feel rested and excited to get back to the grind" these are really helpful, Thanks TopThink!!

I'm gonna start by tring to implement this 1-2min rule in my life. I often let things lie around thinking "that doesn't take much time, i can do it eventually" (e.g. dishes after cooking and eating). But I realized that they sometimes lay around for days, which always leaves me in annoyance. Let's start by doing the dishes immediately after the meal! :-) Also, these "small achievements" and "consistent habits" are really really helpful in keeping up motivation! I sometimes have a hard time practicing violin (beside studying for university) because I always think "if I practice, I gotta do whole scales, (bow-) technique etudes and then the piece" (which can take forever if you do it all at one). But instead of not practicing at all because "i could never do all that now, i don't have the time", i try to do at least a small amount of time each day (30min-1h), regardless of how much I get done within that time. Because in the end: that's better than not having practiced at all!!
