I can also recommend sitting less and if you can't, then make sure that you vary your sitting position (legs-up-back-straight, squat etc.). I could not touch my toes. That's how stiff I used to be. I tried stretching exercises and I got more flexible in many ways, but I still struggled a lot getting to my toes. The reason was, that I was sitting in school, later at work, then in the car, at home etc. and my body was used to that position way more than the natural position.

With food I've found that instead of just right away eating healthy I would gradually eat better. Like I said I'm only going to drink water now then after a while it becomes a habit I move on to the next step like I won't eat candy anymore and do that until it becomes a habit. I just keep going healthier and healthier at a slow pace so it doesn't feel like I "have" to do it but it's just something I do. Right now all I'm eating are lean meats with spinach and other greens and plain Greek yogurt with various fruits, no bread or high fat foods at all or candy and I only drink water. it doesn't feel like I'm making myself do it either it's just a habit. I did the same thing with exercise where I'd gradually get into it like 1 day cardio a week then when it became a habit I just keep building off of it until I'm working out 5-6 days a week doing cardio, weight lifting, and MMA.

john gun when I started my health and fitness journey, I just jumped right into everything and never had any cravings. In all of 2015 I ate the same things each and everyday except for varying the vegetables because my mother would cook different curries for lunch. I must have eaten out or had generally shitty food less than ten times until October that year. Then I went to Uni and still followed quite a strict diet. Only later on did I start eating for flexibly.
