Im a commercial pilot instructor. Any pilot, sailor or traveler on cars too knows all vehicles need to have the maps or charts of the route to follow not only one and the others "follow me". What about if the ship or vehicle in front loose the others in a storm or simply at night? The others, with no maps or idea where they were going will get lost. That is one of the rules of fleet or multi vehicle navigation. Magellan didnt give any maps of the route to the others ships, only the portughese crew one in which he was too. That is a huge violation of navigation rules. Im a pilot instructor. He lied to the others about giving them the maps after a while, but didnt. Huge Magellan Devilish Plan to make the others get lost and he and the Italians and portugeese navigate only and put down Spain sailors. He wanted the Spain crews to get lost, of course. That is why the others mutiny againts him. The liar also become a murderer. Good his arrogance made him try to defeat about 1,000 islanders with only about 50. Arrogant got killed and Delcano decided to circumnavigate instead of backtrack which was the initial plan.

Hmmm wala naman sa kanila mismo pero siguro pinakita lang ng sinulat ni Pigafetta na mali ang pananaw ng mga espanyol na naabutan nila tayo dito na parang mga savage at walang alam dahil malinaw sa sinulat ni Pigafetta na mayaman tayo sa kultura at sopistikado na ang ating lipunan ng dumating sila dito

Merong mga survivors sa crew ni Magellan na nagsulat ng libro maliban kay Pegaffeta.... Meron din isa na bumalik sa Pilipinas at tumira na sa Pilipinas... at si El cano ay bumalik din sa mga sumunod na expedition kaso namatay siya sa biyahe at di na nakarating sa Pilipinas....

Maybe biased in terms of his allegiance with Magellan. But towards the natives not really but he might have been biased in favor of his catholic faith with towards how the natives are performing religious practices

Hi. Pigafetta's journal was published but not immediately. The first copies of his journal went to European royalties which further the desire to travel to asia.

The original manuscript of Pigafetta was indeed lost but he managed to publish copies of his journal although it was unclear where and when. French and Italian Archivist tried to study and translate the remaining sources in the 1800s and published their own work. Ito na yung mga ginagamit ntn na basis for studying the circumnavigation.

I think the best way to answer that question is that Pigafetta's writings tried to prove that Magellan's voyage were able to reach our country using the western/pacific route and was able to go back to Spain successfully.
