Bergkamp and Zidane are, for me, the two greatest technicians of all time, with Bergkamp just ahead of Zidane. They are also among the most elegant players of all time. Zidane is in a league of his own when it comes to aesthetics, and is only bettered by Roger Federer in all Sport. Zidane is mr elegant in football.

Henry looked the coolest and most elegant in my eyes.

Most of these guys are well known because of the club exposure they had. That being said I think kids will grow up not knowing who Juan Roman Riquelme was. His style was pure class. The last 10. El señor fútbol. The best my eyes have ever seen.

There should be Rui Costa, one of the most technically gifted players ever. Also, Ronaldo Nazário should be number one, look at the way he dribbles. Indeed it’s very precise but he beats defenders so effortlessly and swiftly. No one else can dribble like him, and I’ve never seen anyone round goalkeepers at frequently and lightly. That’s pure elegance and technique.

In a way Beckham was very elegant in his moves, not a great dribler though but stil he had exellent ball control and his passes and strikes were like poetry....... Anyway number 1&2 are definetly Zidane and Bergkamp I just can't decide wich one is number 1 :) :) :)

for me, Sergio Busquets is the most elegant player i have never seen, and same, the most underrated midfielder in the last time, because his control of the ball, his passes, his defensive activity, and his incredibly coldness in situations where he is complicated by the pressure of the rival, because he always found the right pass and totally destroy the pressure. i miss him so much in this video. i'm so sorry for my horrible english :(

Besides that I have had the privileged to watch Diego Maradona, Pele Ronaldo (Brazil and Portugal) Messi, Thierry Henry, but for me Zizou was a symphony. He was not trying hard, he was synonymous with the ball the game his movement, though not fast like Ronaldo CR7, he was effective. the best body feint even though he had a bigger body frame than Messi, he had it all headers, free kicks, penalties, volleys, curling shots, lobs and once the ball was on his feet it was difficult to dispossess him. Right, his style was very 70s-ish. He simply wasn't athletic enough for top level football in the 2000s. He was a terrific playmaker with the ball, but simply didn't move around when he didn't have it. It's not nothing that Villarreal was the best European club he was a starter at, and not Barcelona, Milan or Juve.
