Bergkamp made me fall in love with the sport, Arsenal seemed like my most logical option at the time. I was a bit annoyed with Henry back in the day because it was all about him, he was the center of attention. He got all the credit and he sold more shirts than any other Arsenal player in history. Don't get me wrong, Henry is an absolute legend but he would never perform as well as he did without the support of Bergkamp, Pires, Vieira etc

My all time favorite striker, it was majestic the way he moved with a ball, he made it look too easy 👑

Xavi and Iniesta had the bad luck to play with Messi who overshadowed everybody in him prime years. Though Snejder deserved it in 2010, Ribery in 2013 and Neuer in 2014.

Never seen such elegance in a CF. King Titi is what every striker wants to be. An exciting player to watch. Absolute class.

When Henry gets the ball it feels like time just slows down. He has so much composure and confidence with the ball. It's actually crazy to watch

He is so humble when asked about managing the club. Said he would be the kitman or the groundsman and i believe he sincerely means that. The man should be involved at the club & have his own apartment at the training ground. Hes literally crying out, Viera, Overmars, Bergkamp were all ignored and went elsewehere. Santi Cazorla wants to coach and we still havent given him is testimonial!

Thierry Henry and Ronaldinho are by far my favorite living football legends, they are the reason I fell in love with football in the first place, they are part of my childhood... Henry should have won at least one or two ballon d'or in the 2003 and 2004 seasons, he was so unique and underrated back then, he was almost unstoppable and genuinely a very good all-rounder authentic player. ☯️✌️

With the ball in his feet his progression was just out of this world. As soon as he made a reception u already know he would make an individual play with it and carry it on trough the field. And the pace he did it too. Unbelievable. Only Henry and Kaka make me smile when I think about ball progression. U just couldn't stop them.

Sad thing for me is there are kids today that literally didn’t watch him or on more relatable scale... there are kids who are judging Messi and Ronaldo from them playing over the last 4 years. It’s sad. The time Henry played man. There were so many phenomenal players. A legendary era. Youth today won’t know man... well... all good things come to an end

Man, i still remember watching football as a kid. Every team had at least a few unique legendary players. Almost every team had an amazing goalkeeper and i still remember this guy scoring free kicks like they were penalties :). Younger generations will never know about Vieri, Recoba, Davor Suker, Jaap Stam, Batistuta, Toti, Bergkamp, Rivaldo, Thuram, Owen, Beckham, Davids, Perruzi, Shay given, Shearer, Andy Cole and so on...

He was scoring around 30 goals and 10 assists every season for 5-6 years in an era where you were a world class striker when you scored 20 goals and 5 assists. Now for a striker 20 goals in a season is bad and even winger can score + 30 goals and striker + 40 goals. You can accept it if it's Messi or Cristiano but when a lot of them scored close or more than 40 goals in a season like Suarez, Lewandowski, Ibra, Salah, Falcao you now that football changed and it became easier to score. So now Henry numbers while great doesn't appear great but his goals/assists where crazy for the early 2000s.

Teams play a different way now. Top teams create such easy chances against smaller teams because they literally pass it into the net. Back then the best strikers had to do more individually to score. Plus don’t forget this was the premier league. Nodody has ever scored 50 goals a season in that league like in la liga or bundesliga

If he even played as a SS or a Number10 he would have been one of the best at it these qualities you generally don't see often in strikers only R9 was like that even better and now there is Mbappe

Ronaldo wasn't as intelligent nor a playmaker like Henry. But he was the only striker that was more special than Henry because of his skills and burst of space ( Henry is faster in 50 meter but in 10 meters Ronaldo was more explosive)
