Henry is the best player the prem has ever seen and it's not even close. It's not just the goals and assists but the way he did it. Sheer get you off your seat brilliance most of the times he got the ball. I am lucky enough to have seen him glide across the Highbury turf. I've seen Messi, both Ronaldos, Ronaldinho, Haaland, KDB and Mbappe live and none of them are or were the complete attacking player that Henry was. He honestly made you believe that anything was possible.

The greatest player ever to grace the Premier League. He literally had it all. Just a devastating package of speed, power, flair, grace and composure. On another note I really miss the Arsenal v Utd rivalry of old. Used to love going into those games hating Utd so much but also with huge respect at what a powerhouse they were and knowing the games would be so intense and full-on. The rivalries in the PL now are so tame in comparison.

This Henry team played Complete Football, football that took them to the Final and the cusp of Champions League glory in 2006.

The pace of the game was so much more back then. When you watched a game you felt tired after was end to end and so much going on.

Those were the days. More incidents and attacks in first half than some whole matches nowadays. man henry was amazing during his era he was always in form against the big teams man U, liverpool, chelease, totenham, in this season he scored an unbelievable goal against liverpool in anfield, he ran from the 45 yard at the 86th minute until he reached the goal, passed 2 players with his pace, challenege jimmy charagher physically and won, and scored a deadly goal, i would kill to see him playing again in top form

Henry got the winner but looking back Eboue deserve MOTM for keeping CR7 quite and assist the winner. Really feel sorry for him to get disrespect from the fans during his end of Arsenal career.

When football was great, just listen to the atmosphere. Sadly it's been diluted due to VAR and the non contact rules but the games between Arsenal and Man U were something else.

You lost the title to united that season

Robin Van Persie actually injured his metatarsal right after he scored that goal and took that slide and would be out for pretty much the rest of the campaign. That really hurt Arsenal.

I remember watching this game on espn gamecast in college. RvP got hurt in this match i believe and that was the start of his agonizing 4 years of just not being able to stay on the pitch for more than 4 months.

As an Arsenal fan I can’t even deny how much more great Henry would have been if he left Arsenal earlier, but loyalty to the club wasn’t just a fan thing, players embodied it even more.
