Thanks for the video. I think it could be worthwhile to mention how to connect this head unit on your desktop, as with any computer - you might want to properly configure it before putting in your car.

Hey man love ur videos!! Just wanted to know if it is better to install a sub in a factory stereo or android headunit. Btw I have a mitsubishi pajero with a factory Rockford soundsystem.

I just purchased a corehan 10.1 inch android radio. Thanks for the video. The mounting was very irritating as its basically impossible to install it with brackets and the dash cover. Very helpful video for that. Unfortunately so far I'm not as impressed with mine. For some reason bluetooth didn't want to connect at first and the radio doesn't allow downloading Netflix or Disney plus which is needed for long trips with the kids. Also found even with mirror link to my phone by usb it still wont play video on it from those apps on my phone which is very irritating. Even the movies I purchased on Google play wont work. I'm beginning to wonder if I purchased junk. Well glad to see your have purchased a good one. Keep up the good work and the videos. Maybe I'll find something useful on mine by watching your videos with yours.

@@joshbrowning3488 the mirror link works by connecting your phone to the usb cord that's connects onto the back of the radio. You also need to use a app called EasyConnection. I found it to be alittle pointless so I dont use mirror link. After contacting the maker Corehan they told me the website to use in order to download and watch Netflix and others. Seems to work fine but the radio is a bit slow so I only use it when taking the kids on a long trip. Otherwise I just use my phone on my lunch breaks.

Really want to know about the rear camera wiring. I have a 7:inch unit that is pretty much the same thing.

I'm having a tough time finding a dash kit to use with this 10" screen I have a 2001 Expedition. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Great video btw !!

Hey can I ask where did you get your harness from? I've just brought android tablet stereo too but I'm totally stuck I would be able to crimp it if I knew which adaptor I needed but the WiFi cable is a plug but my car doesn't have a connector to put it to? Thanks love the video

U can install without a harness but only if ur comfortable with splicing into ur cars harness u can always extend the wires with aftermarket wires if they match colors and all that but yeah

Beware of your heater vents. It can cook the screen

For the radio antenna do you use the one that was plugged into the original stereo or the one attached to the new wiring harness?

That usually depends on your model and yr car. Most of the time an adapter might be used for the antenna.

Did you ever figure out the backup camera? having trouble figuring out the connection, having tried multiple routes with no success and no contact from the seller =/

The harness should have a reverse trigger wire that needs a reverse signal wire from your vehicle to power the camera on. You will have to find out if your vehicle has a negative or positive trigger on the reverse signal and locate the circuit and tap into it.

How long is the boot time? Does it go into sleep mode when you remove the key? When you turn the car on later, does it boot up from cold boot again or go straight into where you left off after you remove the key from earlier?

Mine loads up instantly after the first install. I think while the vehicle isn't running it must use the battery connection to enter a typical android "sleep" mode. after unplugging and plugging in the main wire harness a few times trying to figure out my backup cam, I noticed it had to boot android every time. But, once its installed and you have everything the way you want it, it wakes up with the ignition pretty quickly.

What type of add on are you referring to that shows the guages? I can't seem to find one.

Really could use the rear camera vid. Mine came with an extra connector with a video line and 2 blue wires. Oh, and another plug with like 12 video/audio connectors.

Some sellers have premade harness, much less trouble

I also installed the head unit but the steering wheel controls keeps on wrongly funtioning after the car is switched on after a while. The volume up key makes the volume go down and other buttons do not perform the tasks they were set for initially with steering control settings.

which one is the ground wire? . my stereo makes static noise when tuned to local radio . but works fine when i stream songs on Bluetooth or youtube

I have a 2008 Nissan Versa and my Pioneer touch screen broke last week. I am wanting to buy an Android based head unit like the one you bought. I noticed a lot of manufacturers are coming out with these large screens / floating screens which look awesome. My only complaint about my Versa is that from day one the AC has always sucked. I've changed out the filter and get it recharged etc. but never makes a difference. So with adding in a stereo with this large screen it is partially blocking the AC vents. Are you having any issues with this since installing your 10.1" screen? Thanks.

it wont block your AC , it comes with frames and cables specific for your car when you buy it

i have an acura tsx 2004 and i decided to intall another screen since the original one was very expensive for me and turns out that it is bigger,it works for the frame that car brings,but the frame has a plate which does not let me pass the cables i thinks if i cut it,it would stay,but i didn dare do it ,i could only glue around it so that the screen with the frame would hold better,as i mentioned,itś bigger,but that alone prevents me from installing it...

You need to install custom firmware to resolve these known issues. You can visit XDA forums and search for your model

I just tried with my after market amp and it on my has 2 left and right rca audio output. Now I don’t have sound on my rear speakers.

I'm not doing any video out other than the backup camera. But I believe it has RCA video out

My unit had a good ground already so I used the original. If u can make a better connection to the cars frame that's the way to go

I just did the install for the binize today in my 09 Versa. Big game changer definitely way better now, you're video helped a lot thanks. I do get kinda bad wifi service in the drive way let me know if you have a clue.

Wifi seems a bit spotty on my unit sometimes. I usually turn my phone into a hot spot and that works pretty good.

@@danielmid6022 same with the hotspot. I reached out to them. My reverse camera harness was missing one of the blue wires (WIFI, Bluetooth antenna), If you don't plug it in or its missing one of the 2 that could be it. Ill know once the part comes in.

I believe that wire is the amp on/off wire. Only needed if u are running an external amp

Also the orange wire gets connected with the red wire I wanted to be where when I turn on the ignition it comes on and then when I turn off the ignition it turns off correct

Hello good morning, I formatted my factory multimedia and when restarting after the car brand logo it gets a black screen on, could you help me solve it? tried to reset the button or usn flash and nothing. maybe just using a computer and doing twrp;

I have the same radio and if you don't mind could you help me out with something? I connected it but only get sound from the radio and when I connect my bluetooth from my phone there's no sound? It says you don't have to connect the plue power antenna wires but if I don't connect them I get no sound at all? If I do connect them together I get radio sound....Someone suggested a bypass and to connect the blue wires to the red together and actually that does work ...the only thing is the radio wont shut off when I shut off the engine and open the door....which caused my car battery to die...It's a great unit and I love it but I'm sure its just a matter of me having one wired crossed the wrong way.....And If I didn't mention I don't have any aftermarket amp just factory from a Pontiac Grand Prix 2006

I received my head unit today so I found your video interesting and informative. Just a quick question though... Those wires that you attached together, which other wires did you actually connect them to? I only got one set of wires which are loose from the other end so I wasn't sure what they are attached to.

You can use offline maps you will have to connect the head unit wifi or Hotspot on your Phone then you will have to find an app called here on the unit follow the instructions in the app to the main map page select the option menu (should be top left) select use app offline and download your preferred map for your region and it should work from there.... since its an android unit if your hooked up to the internet you can download Spotify on it and download music to listen offline as well you can use the Bluetooth option and play it from your phone as for the USB I haven't tried it not 100 percent sure it will work but it should be able to work as well... hope that helps

Hello, by mistake a plugged the outlet that is supost to go on the canbus on the radio and after that it shut down and doesn't turn on anymore already whit the canbus well connected

They are antennas for wifi and Bluetooth I think.

Just purchased the smaller version and my passenger speakers front and rear is not working. Wires are hooked up correct
