Hey man love ur videos!! Just wanted to know if it is better to install a sub in a factory stereo or android headunit. Btw I have a mitsubishi pajero with a factory Rockford soundsystem.

It is most suitable to use the factory stereo as those are fit with the vehicle requirements. But some factory head units are not coming with backup camera, GPS etc. Then you have to go for a 3rd party head unit. If you purchase this, I can recommend the sound quality is very good like a branded head unit.

Is it easy to had RAM box and aerial to this unit and I have used the pre wired connector I only have 2 speakers in my camper van and want to add another 2 for the back of my camper do I have to brake into the harness or just join the wires to the other 2 speakers

Since you can connect 4 speakers to this unit, you can just connect other 2 speakers with the stereo system. No need to do modifications with factory wirings.

Hi.. did you have any issues with the install on this. Nothing seems to work, no GPS, no DAB, cant hear people on the phone. I have installed the same unit on my Audi A4 B7. I notice the unit didn’t come with any installation guide which doesn’t help.

Check the outputs of the car stereo speaker 1st. There may be the issue with your head unit. If you want to connect external amplifier, you cam use AUX outputs.

Android Auto works from your Bluetooth. Other apps you can use WiFi hotspot.

Not internet though, you can not get Internet over bluetooth. The only way is from a mobile wifi hotspot ​or installing a SIM card into the head unit @@tobyhorath8284

Generally, things are fine, but the unit keeps shutting off and back on while driving. Thoughts? Should I do a factory reset? Only installed 2 weeks ago and this on off keeps happening.

Check the wiring. There may be a loose connection. Or over heating. try to install a fan to the device.

There may be a fault with your device . But the memory keeps with the battery power. Normally yellow big wire is the battery wire. It must be connected to the battery and even though the car is switched off, the head unit should be connected with the battery . Check that. Another option is, factory reset the unit. Yes, some devices are not with the option to cange colors .

As SetNFix said, i bet ur Ingnition Power and Main Power Cords are wrong connected - switch em in the Connector and everything should work fine. :)

No, There is no connection with the door (of this device). It can be an issue due to wrong wiring. or have you installed customized gadgets to your car.

@@justinrogers1783 1st check the the performance with low volume and gently increase the volume. If the issue when increasing the volume, you may need to replace the speakers. But before purchasing new, check the speakers connecting with any other audio device.

When you go to apps, there is the settings. or there is the settings icon under notification bar. If you want to change the theme if the alternative launchers are not available, you have to download launchers

When shift to reverse radio display perfectly the camera and 3 seconds later go to menu alone without movin the shifter. What can be the issue

My amp won't turn off . I'm confused, the amp const(blue) and key #1 are unplugged from remote wire to amp . Still getting power .

Keep the GPS antenna inside the car on the dash board. But be careful to prevent from sunlight.

Hi there, you seem to be longer around with this Sort of Unit then iam... and ive a "Problem". Bougt 2 Android 13 Units from "CYA" (Name in Plattform Information) and cant find this Manufacturer anywhere. Reason: The MCU Firmware on both are Different, Android Versions are the same. The Sound on the one with the newer MCU Firmware is MUCH better in Meds then on the unit with lower Version Number - so i asked the Seller if there is a Place where i maybe can download the Updates to bring both Units on the same Page (One is in the Smart 541 of my Wife, one in the same Smart Modell of my Father in Law)... Maybe you have an Idea. First, It is not possible to enhance the quality of the sound by changing the firmware. It is depend on the sound IC, most of are TDA sound ICs with 55Wx4 channels. Those are coming with high quality sounds. (Did you check the quality of the speakers of your vehicle?). Yes, sometimes it is unable to find the manufacturer due to custom ROMs. The only way is, open the casing and check the mainboard. The motherboard surface is printed the brand (XYAUTO, YTD, etc).

This device is with a good fm module . Signal strength is also good. Chech the car fm antenna and the fm signals in your area. If the screen turned off when switching gears , there is an issue with wiring . Or check alternator , alternator belt and battery condition . There is no connection with car stereo and gear system .

In this model, they are using a customized OS. There is no direct connection to developer option. Oif you want you can access using external apps.

You can use wi-fi without connecting a camera. But you have to connect that connector to the device.

It is most probably an issue with the wiring. Make sure you have connected the battery wire correctly with car head unit.

This is sometimes with wiring issue. normally there are wires from battery and one from ACC. if both are connected to the battery wire, the unit will not off. Some devices are with option to keep on even after the key is off (if so you can change it). Or there may be an issue with your main board. you may check by disconnecting ACC wire from the device, if the unit works still, there is a issue with the board. then you can connect the both ACC and B+ wires with ACC wire. (this is the last option)

head unit red power wire needs to go to acc+ from ignition switch, then it will switch on/off with ignition key etc.

WiFi antenna is the two wires connected to the backup camera connector.
