My mother had all her toes inflected by a fungus and she applied Vicks vapour rub twice a day for about a month and all the fungus disappeared. I believe tee tree oil also works.

It does depend on how long you have it. Mine started in 2010 when I got a pedi for my son's wedding. I ignored it for years and it spread to all of my toes on my left foot and my nails got dark and real thick. I tried tea tree oil and that worked some, then I added a soak of Apple cider vinegar with the mother, peroxide and baking soda and that seemed to help a little more. I started using the oregano oil in December, now April, along with my red light therapy. They are getting lighter in color but are still fairly thick. I sand them and cut them down as much as I can but I can only go so far without it hurting. It's been a long fight, about a year, but I don't want to take medicine because I have a liver disease, and insurance won't pay for laser treatment.

Orally taking oil of oregano capsules daily helps even better!!!!

Just drunk the oregano capsules and apply the oregano oil to the toes it smells horrible 😫 but I will continue and cooked with oregano leaves 🍃

@@nancysmith6685you can’t blame only the nail salon, you chose to go to them and wear artificial coverings on your body, nails are not meant to be suffocated, there are many reasons you could have developed this fungus that had nothing to do with the technicians or the cleanliness of the equipment

@vicky116 Castor is antibacterial. I applied for my grandmother, for a few months. Massaging her nails and then wrapping to keep the oil in place, and then the sock. They got much better after about nearly 3 months. Depends on how badly the nails have been already affected.

Tee tree definitely works. I always wore dark polish on my toes one big toe got all jacked up!! I should have used a base coat but none the less. Lol but tea tree and regular foot soaks with vinegar and tree infused Epsom salt worked perfectly. Daytime i dab tea tree oil on my toe nail. Back to normal

Thank you doctor. My husband has been fighting toenail fungus for years. I help him with treatments that can help. But he’s not consistent with treatments. Every time it shows improvement and stops being painful he always stops before it’s completely gone. I had a doctor tell me that he should treat it for another few days after it’s gone just to make sure the fungus is no longer able to come back. Hope that someone can learn from my husband’s mistakes.

I tried everything . I read about using Iodine am & pm. I did this about a month. The rotten nail just fell off. It gre back normally. After it fell off l sprayed the tie with alcohol am & pm. New nail is perfect

I saw your video about using bleach to “kill” fungus. I didn’t want to put bleach on my toe for a week. Knowing peroxide kills fungus I made a mixture of peroxide baking soda and epsilon salt instead. It worked great!

A method that worked for me that I'd like to share is this, I took a very small piece of a cotton ball, put a few drops of Ionic Silver solution at 400 PPM, placed it on the toe nails that had the fungus, I then put a silicon toe protector that I bought from Amazon over the cotton and nail. I did this every night for about a month. Eventually the nail became dark, and every night before I did this treatment I would use an emery board to remove a bit of the dark stain. after about a month they were as heathy as they ever were.
