Any issues with switching the coil wires? I picked one up but find it odd they ask you to reverse them

I have fitted my ikilly switch exact same as you (thank you for a very detailed install) I have the Losi 5ive t and the dx5 pro it all comes on with green light and all settings correct but I can’t seem to switch it to kill mode :( any suggestions would be welcomed mate ? Please help 🙈

Thank you..if my memory serves me correct the dx5 is made by Spectrum and for some reason they must have a unique system because i always hear if you have a spectrum radio you need to do this or that..when running certain killswitches or servos ..i wish i knew more about them and could help but in this case as long as you reveresed the wires at the coil like they said..maybe try setting the switch in the opposite direction..as if you hadnt reversed them and see what happens

Sick N Tired Rc thank you for your reply mate appreciate it, I got it going correctly now I wasn’t pressing ok after changing the settings on the ikilly switch so kept on going bk to 2 channels and not the 3+ 🙈 I felt so silly tbh 😂 but again thank you and I love your install and I copied it exactly as you did it very clean 👌

Nice! I think I'll replace my Super Killer Bee with that. Which LiPo battery are you using?

check out www.detroitperformancerc.com i believe that's the web address. i'm not running lipo right now..it's got a 4500mah nimh in it.

what does urs idle at for rpm... nines at 1400.... and clutch engagement is only 4500 and i have an 8k spring...? think mines broken

Ya thats not right...what are you using to read rpm? Idle is normally 2k ..ive seen dudes that like 2500 or 2700rpms for idle. But 4500prm clutch grab is odd with 8k spring unless spring is old ..and then that would make some sense. But im thinking your rpm reader might be an issue too..worth checking before wrenching.
