What gets me about the "but there's no ground" one is how, for the level to work, the 1UP hidden block had to be... not hidden.

The 1-1 super world got randomly recommended to me and i had such a good time watching Dave both make a fool of himself and suffer it unlocked the world of DGR for me. The time passes, but the idiocy continues. 👍

That level was of similar concept, but presented very differently. If it was the same level it would have had the icons indicating he cleared it.

Only if the level is made by the user named 1~1, as that's who made the entire Super World. If the level is by literally anyone else, then it wasn't part of the Super World.

The Twisted x 10 level is the same as Twisted, but with a 9x1Up clear condition. That's why there's a door at the beginning. You must do it "10 times" to get 9 1Ups + 1 flagpole. Twisted x 5 requires you to complete the level 5 times in a row.

There's many clear videos for these levels. They are actually not that hard for good players once the level is memorized, since there's not truly precise things at all and it can be very consistent.

i love seeing 1-1 torn apart in interesting styles

I remember Mario coming out and it wasn’t until today that I realized it was a perfect test level for the games. It offered up the majority of that you could expect in the game but left enough so there were surprises as well.

Super Mario Bros. was my very first game as a kid. Seeing my childhood recreated in such imaginative ways is simply beautiful. I loved every level in this video, and would love to see more.

The backwards run was the most creative variation.

This is the first time I’ve seen DGR and Ryu play the same level. The twist is literally just play the level 5x iirc. (Ryu didn’t beat it, he didn’t pay attention to the timer and timed out even though he was about to.😢

When you played the 1-1 with no ground level, I was going to make a comment about how you're no longer family friendly with all the nudity of the naked pipes, but then the creator went and put shorts on them. 🤣🤣🤣

level tip : jump, go to left and just before touching ground or an ennemi go to right. It's that easy but it's only SMB1.

To this day I still don't understand how Mario can face right while moving left.
