My 6 year old has been making levels since I got him a Switch for Christmas. He is adamant that pick a path is a good level design because it "teaches" you. Like if you pick the wrong path and die, you learn not to go that path again lol

Dave there was a dev exit platform that I saw when you finally finished the get-the-coin-while-avoiding-the-fire-bar-and-spiky-rod level. It was in the top left and I saw it for a split second.

At least you made a Bean Burrito level more enjoyable for the viewer.

For the second level, i think there is an "easy" set-up trick for the pixel-perfect jump. Run to the block, turn around and duck. Mario/Luigi/Toad/ette should slide in position for the jump. People like Z7 should get it maybe 99% of the times. I think.

The level viewer shows that the 500 sec speedrun was nearly done after that Bowser fight. His room had a working pipe that lead to a star powered run through enemies that you took to a pipe, that lead to a key door that took you to the goal.

Omg he legit made him look like so nice running so fast it looks like he's only making such small movements while traveling great distances

Hi Dgr! I was so happy to see you upload and be able to have my comment actually noticed. I just wanna say, you have made my childhood super fun and I really like Mario so keep up with the amazing content!

Mods should stop refunding predictions that are answered early. The people who were wrong keep their points even though they were wrong, and the people who were right get nothing despite risking it all and winning. All in the name of stopping a few people from taking a fraction of the spoils after the fact.

There are a lot of under rated levels that needed way more likes that should have needed. Trolls levels sadly are underrated as well. What makes a bad levels bad got to be the pick a pipe, bean burrito, and hot garbage! I might eventually get Mario Maker 2 for my Nintendo switch.

The first level must be some glitch anomaly. Because it's good!

Yeah, I find it kind of fascinating that nearly 7000 people played that level and yet not a single person liked it? Like even just as a mistake or as a meme for a truly bad level... but NONE? Hell, the fact that 6800+ people meh'd it is unlikely too. Something had to have broken somewhere. And with a nearly 30% clear rate, it's clear there's no jank or unfair section either.

Nintendo made that jump between the spikes harder in mm2. They made the hitbox wider, in order to stop people from making levels where you have to do a ton of those, but in the end they just made it worse.

It took me a second to realize that was the Sonic song around 22:16. Only because I play Monster Hunter Rise and there is an event quest with the song that you can get layered armor for your dog and cat (cat is Sonic and dog is Tails)

What a mixed bag, am I the only one who feels the term Bean Burrito has gone from challenging levels to tedious clear pipe/how to waste 500 second simulators? Also, why does it seem New Soup & 3D themes - more often than not - equals hot garbage?
