Was prescribed this at a low dose of 30mg for back / leg pain and depression with anxiety . So far I am impressed by the amount of pain reduction as well as a noticeable mood lift . Side effects included nausea / insomnia for a week or so , increased sweating and jitteriness , all of which have more or less subsided now after 3 weeks of taking . So far so good!

I’m glad I’m seeing this comment. I just started this medication 2 days ago and I keep getting hot flashes that I hope go away 😭 my tummy is upset too so it’s kind of annoying. I’m low key worried and that is literally not helping my anxiety. I was started at a low dose for a week while I taper off Zoloft because at 200 mg once a day, nothing was changing. I took evexor omg I got alice and wonderland syndrome. It was afull .then symbolic. I feel good on it no wt again 30 mil.everyone is different.but I will tell everyone.i was on panel IT WAS THE BESTTTTT EVER FOR ME.IT BALLANCED ME OUT .AND MADE ME THINK POSITIVE..BUT THE WT.GAIN WAS SO BAD I STARTED OUT 120 TO 145 NO WAY IT WAS ALL IN MY MIDDLE IT WAS AFULL IT GAVE ME SUCH BLOAT LIKE A GOAT.LOL BUT EACH OF US ARE DIFFERENT

Doesnt it say only 9% of cymbalta users experience insomnia, doesnt it has to make you calmer to sleep better , or do you sleep better when the side effects are gone? And the effects kick in?

I’ve been taking 20 mg for 3 months for fibromyalgia and it has helped with mood, sleep and pain. I also went off of it for a month and did not have withdrawal symptoms. By going off of it, I realized how much it was helping me.

I take 60mg once everyday for anxiety, and it’s the only antidepressant that’s truly worked for me, but If I don’t take it, I get bad brain zaps after a day or two

Finally. Someone positive.been on so many meds as well as cycles of weaning myself off of some. I've weight issues and right now ,find lack of appetite as a good thing. Gained sooo much weight due to immobility and eating like a crazy person. (Also on steroids for inflammation) brain cancer,AVN,and neuropathy.taking cymbalta for 4/5days now and feel like30 percent better as well. My doctor wants to increase dose. Nervous about that for several reasons...but,I've been isolating as it is.if I gain anymore weight!?!?! Talk about depression!anxiety and manic episodes from steroids !!!being obese isn't going to help in my end of life times. It is helping w/the severe pain but, I really want to enjoy life,a little bit. Thanks for listening to me ramble. Glad I found the good doctor and this comment.

I lost weight for the first 6 months and then gained it all back and more. Feels impossible to lose the weight without going off it.

This video reminded me of the wasted 2 years of my life. I was misdiagnosed with depression. First they put me on Cymbalta for a year to no benefit. Then they put me on a transdermal MAOI patch for another year. Again, no improvement. THEN they finally did a bloodwork which revealed my testosterone was down to 128!!! After a couple months on transdermal testosterone patches (5mg per day) I was back to my old self.

I think I have arachnoiditis because I signed a paper for redacted lol No pun intended, I've had a few pains before but I don't remember if I punched the nurse or doctor during induction or if I was hallucinating because I sequester major depression as well as all of these symptoms I don't want to be a pharmaceutical pawn but I think my immune system attacks way too many cells anyways and I do still smoke but I read the side effects and want to cry and my unstable emotions cant compensate for my current state whatever that is .... who knows I could have been

It has really helped me with pain and depression. I haven't any problems with it.

Where you successfully at coming off this medication?

I personally love duloxetine. I have fibromyalgia, nerve pain, and arthritis. It has greatly reduced my pain. Not 100% but definitely more than the 30% she mentioned in the video. I also have bad anxiety and depression. I noticed an improvement in my mood. My only issues are some insomnia and I tend to sweat more in the heat.

Thank you SO much for your videos! In just a few short minutes you have addressed questions that I have had for years. The physicians in the u.s. have a very limited amount of time to talk about pain and different modalities to address it. Also, physicians who specialize in pain management are few and far between. You are providing a wealth of information so that a person can walk into their doctor's office - armed with very specific concerns. Doctors seem to appreciate that.

I was put on this for pain. I have severe osteoarthritis, lower back pain, and neck pain. It didn't help my pain at all. I told my doctor and he wanted to continue trying it. Finally I weened myself off of it and after a roller coaster of emotions and severe depression I started to actually feel better. It is better to live with the pain then to take this medication. I also gained 30 pounds. It's awful.

Thank you for your post, I was prescribed it and didn't like the way I felt and immediately stopped . My pain meds were much more effective however they are hard to find sometimes. I don't know what the answer is but I'm trying.

If you don't mind answering: How much do you took and how long did it takte to come off of it (withdrawals)?

I was prescribed it after I had a hemorrhagic stroke. It did help with my chronic pain from M.S. but it ended up affecting my judgement and I ended up going off the rails and spending crazy (for me) amounts of money on random things. It took a few months for me to figure out what was going on. Getting off was one of the most godawful experiences I’ve ever had. I tried twice under the supervision of my doctor and it ended up taking months to ween down and then off the drug. It took about 3 or 4 further months for the side effect to stop. The pain and brain zaps were at times debilitating. I know that it does and can help people, but I wanted to share my story just in case anyone else is going through what I did.

The same happened to me, getting off of antidepressants was awful, the worst! It took two tries and was months before I could get off of Efexxor by very slowly reducing the medication, yet it's not called addictive. I hope you're fully recovered.

I tried Cymbalta for fibromyalgia, and it made me very manic, so I went back to tramadol and gabapentin. That was years ago though - I've been on methadone and Celexa for 8 years now. I was up to 120mgs of methadone, but slowly weaned to 19mgs. I also take hydroxyzine for all over body itching. My doc still doesn't really know what is causing the itching. It's maddening. It's not itching on top of the skin, but like bugs on the inside of my skin. At this point, the itching is affecting my quality of life more than the fibromyalgia aching and burning.

I understand completely. I will not take Gabapentin either. I will undergo the lumbar puncture/spinal tap thus. My best antidepressant that I'm on is citalopram and it works great. I just need to go under a few mor test for full diagnosis of MS. then get my pt and balance my life.

MOST antidepressants are very hard to get off of.I still struggle with extreme ibs and fatigue after stopping prozac three years ago.I didn't like this video,informative but kind of advertising.NEVER TAKE ANTIDEPRESSANTS they entirely fuck up all your systems.....unless you're an extreme case!

I'm taking it for anxiety and nerve pain.... It works pretty well.

Thank you for this very informative video. I have Sjogren’s disease, a systemic rheumatic autoimmune disease that affects the body in much the same ways as Lupus. Chronic joint, muscle, and neuropathic pain are extremely common with Sjogren’s. In fact, many diagnosed with fibromyalgia actually have undiagnosed Sjogren’s. My physician recently suggested duloxetine and Pregabalin to manage my chronic pain. I can’t even begin to tell you what a difference this combination has made for me! Not only is my pain much better managed, the anxiety and depression commonly associated with chronic pain has dramatically decreased.

Yeah I took Cymbalta for two months, it didn't work for pain so I tapered off it as per the protocol...and went crazy. I've never been through anything like it. Look on the Internet - there are lots of posts from people trying to get off this shit. Be careful, is all I'm saying.

Same here, it was hellish getting off of antidepressants (SSRI's) It took a couple of tries and a very slow weaning off and it was still really bad, sweats, stomach pain, chronic insomnia. The only advice I received, was to go back on the medication to stop the horrific withdrawal symptoms, but it's not addictive?

Yep, I was on it for several years for back pain. I had to go to mental health for help on tapering and to get a lower dose. Even at the lowest dose, all the side effects kicked in once I stopped that. It took me six months to feel normal again. Oh the nightmares and Vertigo too!

Wish doctors would stop glamorizing Cymbalta when it's the most difficult modern antidepressant to come off of... If you want to promote it, you should also be able to deal with the discontinuation syndrome that comes with it.

Thanks so much for your videos. I came across your Chanel recently & I’ve gotten more information from you than any doctors I’ve seen. I’ve had severe back pain for over a year. Started out as sciatica then got worse. Tried physical therapy, no help. Doctor prescribed high dose of acetaminophen, no help. Was sent to a DO, she never showed up for the appt. No explanation. Regular Doctor finally sent me to have an MRI done. Found out I had a herniated disc & degenerated spine. Sent to back surgeon who in turn sent me to a pain clinic. Tried several injections, no help. Was prescribed gabapentin, no help. Was even given higher dose, still no help. Was sent back to surgeon who in turn decided to go ahead with surgery. Keep in mind while going thru this process I had to wait a month or two to even get these appointments. Pain got worse constantly. I now have to walk with a walker so I rarely get out of house, sometimes even my bed. While I wait for surgery (another 2 to 3 months), I have to get pre approval from my family doctor. Went back to see him, but can’t get that because my blood pressure was to high, 190/102. So I have to get that down first. But, with such pain it’s hard to do. Finally doctor prescribed Tramadol, 50 mg., 3 times a day. It’s helped some, better than everything else I’ve tried. I try not to take the full daily dose because I know it can be addictive. Your videos have helped me so much. I understand so much more from you than any doctor I’ve seen. Thanks so much for your help. Bless you.

If you can take over t counter medications I can recommend Ubiquinol it worked wonders on my blood pressure. It’s CoQ10 my BP has never been better. Good luck

I used it successfully at a very low dose (20 mg. a day) for a few years. But it can raise blood pressure, and I started having a problem with my bp going up. It may or may not have been the Cymbalta, because I was also using some supplements that could do the same thing, and I stopped them and the Cymbal at the same time. No withdrawal symptoms, though I did go back on Wellbutrin immediately after going FB the Cymbalta. I have fibromyalgia and other chronic health/pain issues. Since I went off of the Cymbalta, I have noticed a steady increase in over all body pain and a big flare in nerve pain to my hands from cervical arthritis and herniated disk. I am asking my doctor to put me back on the Cymbalta; this pain makes me feel as if i’m slowly dying!

😱,I had Shingles,12 years ago, Neuropathy,I am so tired of being the test patient!!I feel so exactly as you do,I been doing cold turkey,off meds,just herbs,CBD,THC,and eating well,I love Veggies+fruit,but can have dly afford,any more..I am 70,this has been something wrong for all this time,58,I am a worker bee,and hard labor..Not easy stuff,cropped tobacco?hoe'd melons,Park Ranger, etcetera!!there had to be a malfunction of some sort! Doctors don't care,most!!I like this Canadian gal,very explanatory..most just don't even face you!!Only filling in your crap,on computer!!very depressing,not even wanting to go to damn doctors..sorry for carrying on.!!

@@norafox4789 No need for apologizing; I totally get it. I did go back on the Cymbalta and am still on the Wellbutrin also. Have noticed an improvement in over all body pain. Now I just have to hope my blood pressure numbers don’t rise again. I always say I feel as if I’m just “Chasing the dragon” of pain, and it can always outrun me. Unlike you, I must admit to not being careful with my diet. I am slowly trying to cut back on carbs, especially sugar, though now it’s the holidays, so I’m not having much success currently. But, I refuse to beat myself up over it; I’ve had enough outside factors beating me up since my late 30’s. BTW: I am 72. Hope you find some relief. Happiest of Holidays to you!

Sorry to contradict that it is not addictive, IT IS. I was on this medication for several years and getting off this med was the most difficult thing I've ever experienced in my life. 🤯🥴 😫 Almost 1 year after stopping meds and my mind does not feel normal yet. 🤪

Hi Martha, addiction is different from physical dependence. People also develop physical dependence to blood pressure medications, steroids, thyroid hormones --> but nobody develop addiction to these medications. Addiction, or opioid use disorder, is when the person looses control of how much they are using the medication because of the euphoric effects or numbning of thier emotions. Drugs like opioids do that. Antidepressants do not do that.

Any antidepressant causes physical addiction as the body grows accustomed to the increase of neurotransmitters. Once a treatment is stopped (especially abruptly) then it takes a while for the body to re-establish equilibrium by producing its own neurotransmitters -like it used to before going on ADs. The sudden lack of neurotransmitters causes a variety of symptoms and those adverse effects are referred to antidepressant discontinuation syndrome or withdrawal syndrome. It pisses me off whenever I see medical professionals prescribe Duloxetine/Cymbalta then downplay its discontinuation syndrome as «no big deal». They don't even know how to deal with their sick patients when they're going through it which is literally H*ll from my experience. So debiliating and it doesn't only last 2-3 weeks like I was told.

I've been taking it for 4 years and you're right. It does help with depression and anxiety and this is a great thing because I'm a recovering opiate addict clean 5 years and 5 months. My fibromialgia, RA and osteoarthritis pain is pretty bad. I'm only 53 and move like an old lady because of my pain. I have read a lot of success with changing your diet to a low carb or carnivore diet. I know that if eat anything with sugar in it, even fruit my pain is through the roof😢. I did a 48 hr fast last summer and 80% of my pain was gone. I've been working on getting sugar our of my diet but meat males me nauseous anymore and I don't know why. Anyways I know that Jesus paid for our healing Isaiah 53 3-5. Now I'm just waiting on the Lord. God bless you all and extra blessings for those of us who are struggling with the evil horrible debilitating pain every second of every day.

I've been on it 2 weeks now, I've been getting over a frozen shoulder and a partially torn tendon in my arm and the beginning of bone on bone in my right arm these past 2 years, it's helping. I'm not taking as much medication as I have been, tired a lot, and still have some pain. Recently I was getting arthritis pain in my hands and feet and jaw. My doctor is treating me for fybromialga, going ok for the moment. I didn't know information on this before being treated, I got information from the chemist about the condition and the medication. Can you take Cymbalta on one of the newer blood thinners? If not , which anti depressent can you take with the newer blood thinners?

I took this junk for about a year!!! I stayed in constant sweats and could not function in the heat...it took me about 3 months to get off of it and tapering off was all that helped..so thankful I did not stay on it longer than a year..I will find other ways to deal with pain....IT IS ADDICTIVE!!

Yes, I was told the SSRI I was taking, wasn't addictive, yet due to side effects, getting off it was a nightmare which included pain, nausea, muscle spasms, shakiness, and chronic insomnia. I've never had addiction to anything, but as Dr's advice was to go back on the medication as the only way to stop the withdrawal symptoms, it sounded addictive to me. How can this not be called a physical dependence? It took me months to get off of the SSRI I was on.

@ Heather Langley Always be your own advocate. Ask, ask, ask! Anytime you don't understand something, ask to have it explained. And ask again until you understand fully. Your Healthcare Provider should always be willing to take that extra time to explain a medication, A treatment modality, A change in dosage up or down. Hopefully you have one or ones that treat you as an equal, a partner in your treatment plan. If not, have "the talk". Request to be included - politely. But if necessary, find a new Facility that has a Mission of Patient Centered Holistic Care and actually follows it. Stay strong.

Doctor, you explain well, I know because I am a physician too. You also have a fine video presence and beautiful smile. Keep up your good work and your good looks.

I just started this medication for CIPN and it has helped me almost instantly. I almost didn't try it cause of the side effect reviews but Im glad I did. Its a life savor for me. Have slight nausea and a few other symptoms but I can walk now with very little pain.

When I had ruptured L4-L5 and L5-S1, my Dr Rx'd me duloxetine, but he didn't warn me about the sexual dysfunction side-effects. It didn't really help with the pain anyway, so I was happy to get off of it.

@@DrAndreaFurlan Y'all sure must give alot of Tramadol up there in Canada. I don't know anyone with severe pain Tramadol works on. It said if you took or take Hydrocodone do not take Tramadol. From all the post I read from people they went from bad to worse. I could not believe the suffering from the withdrawals. Sure glad I did not take Tramadol.

Hola hablo español. Tomo duloxetin después del diagnóstico médico el cual dice que tengo “sudek”. Desde el mismo momento que tomé duloxetin se fue el dolor de pie izquierdo que era muy fuerte, casi insoportable. No he tenido ningún síntoma secundario sólo mucho sueño. Como usted aconseja lo voy a tomar de noche. Gracias❤️🇦🇷🇦🇷

I began Cymbalta two weeks ago for pain. Even on a starting dose of 20mg. I experience nausea, so I also take Zofran to help with that until I am at target dose of 60 or nausea free. If it’s not time for more zofran, I sip on Pepsi and peppermint to distract from the nausea and use ginger. I have not been on it long enough to notice anything yet, but met a few people that say, “ “ Stick with it, because it takes a few months to really kick in, and get to target dose “ I’m sticking to it because Gabapentin didn’t do much and I NEED the pain control. Thanks for another great video!

I was put on it to help me sleepwith fibromyalgia. The brain zaps, nausea, dizziness and headaches going on it was so bad. Intially i slept and lost 10 kg. Then I gained 45kg, couldnt sleep, bad headaches, pain was worse. I took myself off it after researching about it. The brian zaps and nausea werent as bad when i went on it. Worse thing is i was taking tramadol while i was on cymbalta and doctors said nothing. Researching I found those medications shouldnt be taken together.

I've been on it for 20 years and it changed my life for the better.

Excellent video Dr Andrea, thank you for this information. I was on Gabapentin and then on Cymbalta for 20+ years for fibromyalgia. In my effort to rid my body of all pharmaceuticals I stopped the Cymbalta too! After watching this video I am thinking my increase in pain while attempting your stretching exercise videos and my poor sleep (awake every two hours with difficulty getting back to sleep) quality is due to my foolishness in stopping the Cymbalta!! I think I have to rethink my strategy! Bless you, Evelyn

What milligram if you mind me asking ?

Could you recommend a good painkiller for osteoarthritis of the spine. I also have suffered a wedge fracture in my mid spine since 2020 & I believe most of my pain is from that. I’m currently on 10mcg buprenorphine 7 day pain patch which does help a little but my physio therapist recommended me trying something alongside the patch

If my pain is reduced only 30 percent, what is the use? Thanks 🙏

I’ve been taking this for two weeks now and am already finding a decrease in pain & sleeping better; however, I’m having difficulty fully emptying my bladder, it is rather uncomfortable. Will this get better over time?

I really enjoyed ur video. I have been on this medication for many years and it has helped with my Fibromyalgia tremendously. I did go off of it for a period of time due to insurance coverage and had a terrible time with side effects of the withdrawals from the medication. It was horrible and very scary. Most say it is not addictive but, getting off the medication was very difficult I had shivers, sweats, brain freezes and dizziness also my pain became worse because of the anxiety the withdrawals had and I had to end up paying 500 dollars for a one month supply. It is very very expensive without insurance. With that said I still take it and it does help my pain about 30 percent and I will take that because I have other pain issues as well that I see pain management for. I have suffered in pain for many years and I realize u can’t rely on meds only I have to help myself. Diet and keeping my body in motion is very important. It is difficult to do when u have a fibro flare but, so very important. I hope this message helps someone as ur videos help me! Thanks 🙏 so much

Sorry to hear you've had such a terrible time, no one should have to go without a medication that helps them, it's unimaginable to me, but I don't live in the U.S.A., those insurance companies are heartless. I hope you now have full access to what you need? The withdrawal symptoms from an SSRI, are indeed awful, I went through them after being on one for a lengthy period of time. Dr's never mentioned the withdrawal symptoms, prior to taking, but was told they're none addictive when trying to cease the medication, even though the only solution offered to stop my withdrawal symptoms, was to go back on the medication. I'm glad these symptoms are being discussed and happy for those helped by SSRI's. Best wishes to you.

VERY VERY ADDICTIVE!

I have fibromyalgia ,athritis, low back pain and have been on Duloxatine for over a month. It does nothing for me if any thing my pain has gotten worse and spread to other spots. I am glad some people are seeing relief.

Do you have any trouble coming off of it?

I took Cymbalta for six months & it helped my arthritic knee pain a lot. However, I stopped due to extreme constipation. not even Miralax taken daily helped. I didn't have any trouble detoxing from the medication.

When you stopped taking the medicine did your pain go away .. the knee pain ?

I took this for about 6 months for anxiety/depression... it was an ABSOLUTE nightmare coming off of... it’s not worth it just for the fact that it is a nightmare to try and come off of when time to stop the drug. Even missing one single dose can mess up your progress or symptoms because the half life is so short. JUST BEWARE

This should be the top comment of the video. People should be aware of the discontinuation syndrome BEFORE starting taking Duloxetine/Cymbalta. In an another comment, Dr Andrea replied saying she doesn't know how to deal with withdrawal syndrome. Then why is she promoting this drug LOL

I went on this for depression in 2019 and it made me feel worse… I felt like I was not really here.. and my brain fog was worse… I felt so bad on it that I stopped taking it after 3 weeks and had the most horrific withdrawal.. For me…I will never take this drug again..

This drug ruined my life for not just weeks, but months and maybe years. The withdrawal was like nothing I have ever experienced in my life. Incredibly painful muscle rigidity that makes muscle tension seem like nothing, horrible anxiety, and terrible insomnia. PLEASE Google withdrawal symptoms and read what others experience before taking this drug.

@@cheryldack7654 Same with me on withdrawal. I will be on this for life because of the horrible withdrawal symptoms. I worry about, what if I cannot get refills for some reason. I would be screwed. My advice is to do your research before taking it.

Can l take Cymbalta with Lyrica that l have been taking for a year after my Laminectomy a year ago.....l am with chronic pain tried everything

My Dr prescribed Cymbalta to me in the past to treat my depression and it did relieve some of the joint pain in my knee although it wasn't prescribed for physical pain.

I'm on my first week! Doctor gave it to me for OVERALL BODY PAIN. I have arthritis and sore muscles. I have had auto accidents, falls and body trauma from abuse. I am praying this works because it's hard to work now at 59. Also FOR HOT FLASHES. I am one of the most brutal cases of meopause. So far it caused some restless leg syndrome. So not difficult to sleep. I took two small benadryl pills to help me sleep. It worked past two nights. The only thing I dont like it I have weak legs and a slight shake in my hands and body. It's only my 8th day , 30mg, so Im holding out hope. I hardly smoke for some reason, my appetite is very low but I'm starting to feel happier.

I have MS and prior to getting an infusion, they dosed me with a steroid, and Benadryl to try to prevent any adverse reactions. I learned then that Benadryl can cause restless legs because I was miserable for a while. I would have thought the sedating effects of Benadryl would help with RLS but apparently not.

Anyone of you using it can you please tell me if you have a positive effect on your pain with cymbalta? I suffer from anxiety disorder and chronic pain and considering taking this medicine after discussing with my psychiatrist first but need your opinion how effective it is for pain management? Also I have irritable bowel syndrome so if this medicine can cause constipation or diarrhea?

No, it didn't do anything for my anxiety nor my fibromyalgia. Despite my IBS, I went from having one normal BM a day to one BM a week on Cymbalta 30 mg. Now that I'm trying to quit the drug, I'm having multiple diarrheas a day for the past 7 weeks.

so glad to have found your channel hopefully find information through these that will finally help. can I ask what do you make of Carbamazepine i was just given this today , for bad nerve pain through peripheral neuropathy. also trying to find help with osteoarthritis joint & bone pain is no fun especially mixed with nerve damage & pain 😫 both Dr prescribed & alternative like vitamins, creams etc anyone reading with similar what have you used that works and genuinely helps, would really appreciate comments.

I was on it for neuropathy for five plus years. It was also prescribed for helping with my mood to which it did as well it did for neuropathic pain caused by cervical surgery.

I just started Cymbalta for depression related to ongoing pain over 5 year's (nerves were damaged from contrast). It was manageable for awhile but I can't catch my triggers quick enough if I'm stressed. I become crippled in pain. Anyways question for the women. I was almost done with my period before starting this not the zaps/pressure was felt in that area and I have a full blown period again. Is this a similar experience? I already like it zaps my pain in the areas on my brain, chest, and belly. And doesn't spread to my extremities near as much. But I'm not at all sure why it's affecting my mensual cycle.

Curious how you go about catching your triggers and trying to rid them before your pain gets worse. When I feel my pain getting worse I just spiral and feel awful. It’s pretty much daily.

I'm prescribed cannabis but my gp has prescribed duloxetine, both for chronic back pain caused by osteoarthritis of the spine. I'm concerned about mixing them. Does anyone have any firsthand experience or even just some general advice?

I took this for my fibromyalgia and anxiety and depression. It did help my pain, but not the depression and anxiety. Unfortunately I gained 60 pounds and had swollen feet, ankles and legs. My blood pressure also shot up. Because of all this I had to stop taking it. I didn't have any problems coming off it.

Was the weather unusually hot when you were swollen?

curbside question for you - if you are trying to wean a patient off opioids and want to start duloxetine, do you worry about serotonin syndrome? I know it’s contraindicated with tramadol, but I’ve heard of some instances of this with oxycodone as well.

Hi David, yes, especially when patients are on high dose opioids. If they are on low dose, then it is not too problematic, but we need to alert the patients for signs of serotonin syndrome and go to emergency as soon as possible.

hello, I am necmettin,I am single at the age of 43, I have been diagnosed with anxiety disorder and I use duloxetine 30 mg once a day, but I use lustral in the evenings, what should I do this is true, both have the same effect, I can't decide which is better for me, but duloxetine shows a more realistic effect, listral shows a faster and dynamic effect, but bitaz is like virtual.

I had to stop taking it after seven days because I got severe back pain, ear noises and insomnia from 30 mg duloxetine. Same sideeffects like Pregabalin . It seems like I'm too sensitive to this type of medication.

No side effects except weight gain, but has helped me with my pain levels with other meds and my depression.

I am a male with fibromyalgia and cfs previously took ssri and benzo which caused hormonal problem and subsequently cfs and fibromyalgia. My doctor telling me to take duloxetine,does duloxetine reduce testosterone or cause male libido problem ? And would it help me with low focus and low energy ? is it's withdrawal safe i would only take the minimum dose i.e 20mg. Or should i opt for milnacipran ?

I have MS and take duloxetine for MS nuero pain and depression. It helps with both. BUT, I only take 40 mg a day. Wondering if I should ask the MD to up the dosage.

I have been taking this for 14 years for anxiety 60mg.. decided to step down to 30mg , been having pain in my hips and wrist my carpal tunnel is now terrible.

I love your videos. I am learning so much. I suffer from Fibro, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, digestive issues and so on and so on....i started taking 30 then 60mg and felt it didn't help so I slowly got off it with bad withdrawals and then I got really depressed so I started again and have been taking for a year now. I want to stop but I'm afraid of the withdrawals. Any suggestions? Thank you

I’ve been in 60 mags per day for years. I don’t feel a difference, but maybe I’m used to it. Maybe I need to ask to up my dose, but I only weigh 105 lbs. Is this safe for long term use? I also take Morphine HCL 3x a day and 3 mags if Tramadol for leg pain. I don’t like injections because I get “roid rage”, and the implant they’d like to put in my back scares me because I’m very reactive. I had breast implants for 13 years and, because I was lied to about the safety, I had no idea what was causing my autoimmune diseases, cognitive impairment, infections, weird symptoms, etc. Finally I found out about breast implant illness, but my organs were failing so I had 3 major surgeries before I could get them removed. Almost died on the table because I was so sick, and they gave me a nice “going home” present… pseudomonas aeriginosa! I suffered for 7 weeks until my incision festered and the culture showed that. They told me to get to my doctor immediately! Why do they cover this stuff up?

I have bone on bone autoimmune arthritis in one of my hips. I am worried about taking Cymbalta because of my history of eating disorders. I have read mixed reviews about it's effective on weight. I terrified of weight gain. I have already gained some weight because I have been unable to move my body due to my hip pain. How is this medication for people that have a history of restrictive eating disorders?

I was put on this medication for fibromyalgia, headaches and sciatica. It really helped me in the beginning, but I have gained a lot of weight and I am now experiencing vivid nightmares almost every night-so bad that I have fallen out of bed twice now 😢(I’ve been on it (60mg) for almost a year now. Please could you let me know if it is possibly this medication that is causing the nightmares. How do I go off it with minimal side effects?

Thank you so much for your video. my GP has prescribed Lyrica and because of the side effects of higher doses I have been afraid of going over 150mg because I want to work on maintaining my spine. I have cervical lordosis, full spinal stenosis, osteoporosis and neuropathy. My S1 and L5 joints have already fused. Lyrica emotionally working for me with suicidal thoughts. I have made an appointment with my GP to discuss changing to this medication.

Please ask if the drug recurs when it is taken again. Are the side effects getting bigger?
