You got yourself a real nice one there front brake is a drum and you've got those nice s pipes

Our boss would come out and order us to do a 5 minute job. Thankfully, he was rarely there.

Two things...........1/.If the bike uses taper roller bearings,this method of checking steering head bearings is not accurate as over tightened ( tr ) bearings will still exhibit the same "feel ". 2/.Checking play by gripping the bottom of the sliders & pulling/pushing back and forth gives a better indication of not only steering head bearing wear/adjustment ( roller bearing type )and also any fork bush wear present.

Bike has 18 loose ball bearings top and bottom.
