Hello everyone, Welcome to my Transport & Simulation channel. This channel will host all my Railway, Transport, Model Railway & Aviation videos amongst other videos including reviews of Toys for the Big Boys just like me! I do good honest reviews of model transport products such as Model Trains, Model Buses, Model Planes and other products and I give an unbiased view of the content. Besides this, I also make transport gaming let's play videos of various video games that are mostly driving based. In the future, i plan to do real transport videos of planes, buses and trains that will commence in 2024.

Thanks mate.
0:46 Hey Watch my back Homie!
That was Red Yoshi.
Is that train free in ps4 ?😊
I think this one comes with the game 😊.
I just bought one and want another. 😊
They are great models.
@@BritishRail60062 I'm blown away that I never did hear of them until last week. Also only been in the hobby for three and a half years lol.
how do i drive trains
I thought it was W and S like when driving cars?
@@BritishRail60062 no like i got the mod and all of that but when i hold f near trains it dosnt work
pls answer
Nice to see an HST running 👍 and like the tanker fleet 🙂🙂
Glad you like it mate. There is one more video lift to come from when this model railway was about before I sold it all off. My future is O Gauge as I have a micro layout that is end to end and that makes me happier :). Peter.
@@BritishRail60062 I'll keep an eye out for it 👍 you've got to do what makes you happy 🙂🙂 pleased you are 👍🙂
Low amperage, which won't be much use for many high-powered DC analogue models. Perhaps more suited for OO and N scale models.
I was thinking this when it came to me. Whilst its okay for my smaller locomotives. I think I will update to something more powerful or go DCC as there was nothing on the listing when I bought this controller about the amp output and it does get warm when in use.
Very nice work, Peter!
Thanks Anthony. I have really enjoyed this project myself buddy. All the best, Peter.
Good😊😊
Thanks buddy.
Good gaugemaster made in uk😊😊
It's a good controller mate 😊.
The voith on this is a W
Thanks for the information.
how did you get the train locomotive?
It was on Steam.
@@BritishRail60062 link to that locomotive ON STEAM PLEASE?
Thanh you very much,nice
Glad you enjoyed it 😊.
How do you start the bus I can turn electrics on but when I press M it's not starting and I am in N too
I cannot remember as I have not used this bus for a long time. But you can use the CPU button with some of them and they auto-start. Just click it again to take back control.
Great db trains imported from germany😊😊
DB took over EWS back in 2007 but they have been losing contracts to Colas and GBRF in the recent years 😊.
How did you get the install? I can't seem to get it working.
Its either under RSC or DTG if I remember right.
@@BritishRail60062 the whole extracted file?
Yes, I got couple of questions... Does it has halfway mode or pure DC? What is the excact minimal voltage it could provide? Coreless motors needs only 0.1-0.2V for starting.
Hi there. The controller is 0-12v DC if that helps you. As far as I know. This is NOT one of those feedback units as they cannot work with anything digital as they damage them 😊.
@@BritishRail60062 you are absolutely right, almost every controller has name plate where written 0-...V. But that is a trick and a little bit lie. Because every controller after 0 do not provide 0.0...V. It starts from 1-3 V. For example Roco from 2V, Piko 1V. German Titan as well, but late versions received changes and they have 1.5-14V nameplates, which is obviously quite fair. For some locomotives like HAG that is very important, because with halfwave it could start even with 0.5V. Some coreless motor even with 0.1V. So how many minimal volts porovide your Gaugemaster?
@@Alexander_Sth From a guess, I think the rating is 0.7v to provoke the motor into motion for slow speed. I know the output rating was 1.2amp normal without overworking the controller. This is with Kato, Heljan, Dapol, Bachmann, Lima, Hornby, MicroAce brands I have used. I now to O gauge if that would interest you buddy. My new layout is named as "Hermes Road"
@@BritishRail60062 excactly, some motors could work from 0.7v, however our colegue made his experiment with coreless motor and it works from 0.15 pure DC. I have standard HAG motor, it could work from 0.5 with halfwave, maybe less, but I could not decrease voltage less than 1-0.8 with my controller, because than it would exceed halfwave limit. That is why is better begin from controller posibilities, how really it could work.
You have the same birthday as my girlfriend and happy birthday ash sorry this is late but I hope it was a good day.
That's good and no worries. I appreciate the thought 😊.
i left a comment on ur video called OMSI 2 Steam Edition | New Routemaster | Problems With The London Add-On | Let's Play | HD about the horn problem
Did you ask Rhys about this? He made the add-on.

Hola
Hola, Mucho Gusta. Como Esta? Sorry my Spanish is not good.
What make is that db red unit
Hi there. It's a Class 60 from Heljan and I use Railtec Transfers for the number and the DB names. Hope this helps 😊. Peter.
Double sided tape to attach nameplates.
Thanks. I used PVA glue for the name plates as it won't damage paint work 😊.
Hi, Lovely loco - sorry to see you've had a problem, there by the grace of God go I. I'd use Klear, or Vallejo products, AK, or even Windsor & Newton - anything acrylic (water based). Although, interestingly, the Mr Color (sic) product is solvent based isnt it🤔 Im assuming that the Humbrol product was spirit based? I used to use enamels all the time, especially liked the old Airfix range, and original Humbrol railway ranges too. I had to virtually give up enamels due to health issues. Also latter day Humbrol enamels arent what they used to be. Their acrylics are okay for certain applications though. Some decal/transfer manufacturers state not to use certain solvent based products with their transfers. Obviously this is a consideration with Railtec products too🤔 If you leave the decal for awhile, would micro set or micro sol help to flatten it? It could still be rescued 🤞🤞
Hi there. From what I have learned after this video. I have decided to redo the transfers as I have ordered some replacements to fix the error. Humbrol states that this varnish can be used right out of the bottle for both brush and airbrush applications. So I though this would be safe to use with the decals but I learned albeit the hard way that this is not the case. I will try again and I have bought some Vallejo gloss and satin varnishes to finish off this model that will become 60092. I am happy that I tried and I won't give up until I get it right. The Vallejo varnish has a resin polyethene coating that will protect the decals when it fully hardens after curing. Humbrol is not a brand I can trust anymore after this incident. As for Micro Sol and Micro Set. The instructions advised me to avoid those setters as they are too aggressive. I will find a solution :). All the best Peter.
@@BritishRail60062 @@BritishRail60062 Hi Peter, all understood good course of action Id say. I recalled that Railtec advise against Micro Sol/Set, but as you were at a sh!t or bust stage, careful use may have been worth a try. However you've taken the right decision to use new transfers - quality remembered long after price is forgotten 👍🙏🤞Humbrol? I only use their acrylic paints now, not often though. I don't trust their lacquers/varnish a buddy of mine didn't listen, had to paint strip a large 7mm van and start again as Humbrol varnish crazed. Varnishes and Lacquers are tricky at the best of times - I find them challenging. I would recommend using an airbrush if you can. Harder and Steenbeck are my go to (their new Ultra 2024 is very good) or at a push a cheap (eBay) GHAD39 Gaahleri. Both are easy to use and clean, get a cheap non pulse portable compressor too, ideal for those jobs (with a bit of masking).
@@musoseven8218 First of all, apologies for not replying sooner with no thanks to KZread for not letting me know. I have redone the offending side and upon doing this video. I am pleased to say that I am have much better luck with Vallejo Gloss Varnish which dries to a nice shiny surface and it doesn't harm these decals either. I have been posting a few photos here and there and I can safely suggest that Vallejo is safe for brushing over. Just use a 2/1 ratio of 2 parts varnish and 1 part water to thin it enough but keep it strong enough to adhere to the satin surface. I am really happy with this Class 60 and I am making another video that will be the progress of this model. I am thankful that it is working out fine and I bought a new set of decals just incase my second attempt went square shaped lol. Peter.
@@BritishRail60062 No worries about replying. Whilst I remember, I read an article by Craig Tiley (RM editor now) and he used Railtec transfers that he sealed with Humbrol satin varnish spray rattle can) apparently without issue. I'd still avoid it though. I've found Vallejo varnishes to be fairly safe and inoffensive. I'm really pleased that you've had better luck too, it's a cracking model. I like your idea of creating your own name for the loco. I might do the same - name and number - for a Hall I'm doing (if I get around to it🙄💔🙏🤞). Looking for to seeing more of your progress ✌️👍😊💜🤞🤞👍 Kindest regards.
Hi again. Just to let you know that I have been doing a progress video of my Class 60 as 60092 which I am pleased to say that the Vallejo varnish mixed in a 2/1 ratio varnish and water is safe to use a brush with. I really do not like airbrushing at all. It's one of those arts that needs to get the distance spot on or it can oversoak the model. I have had this happened to me when I tried out the Tamiya lacquer paint cans many years ago. I look forward to seeing your project in due course as well mate. Not long now before I post the progress video of this Class 60 as it is almost done. I will name this one later on after me in one of those Class 60's that never was situations. All the best, Peter.
Are you going to be using 2 separate controllers - 1 for each track ?
When I had this layout. I used the Kato controller and the Hornby R914 with an adaptor plug. Worked well for me during my time. But now I do O Gauge as of this month and I have moved away from OO Gauge and N scale.
Well done, would water base products work better ?
Thanks and I have decided to restart this one because the varnish had totally cracked and damaged the decal so badly that I was not happy with the results and I think Vallejo gloss varnish as a base for the new decal and seal it with a top coat of varnish in gloss and then do two to three coats of satin once it's all done. Avoid Humbrol buddy as it will ruin decals. Peter.
Here is a lesson learned. I am going to try using another varnish like Vallejo or something else that is a clear resin varnish. Stay away from this trash unless you want a ruined finish folks! I learned this the hard way today. Humbrol is junk!
throw the humbrol in the bin , i use vallejo premium , ruined too many models with humbrols shitty clears
Thanks for the tip. I think I might try their range instead or stick with Revell as they used to be good.
@@BritishRail60062 anything is better than humbrol , ruined countless models with humbrol clears
@@shakeyhandsshedmodelrailwa2494 Sorry to hear that mate. I learned the hard way about this brand, They are junk and I have just ordered some Vallejo Satin Resin Varnish and I will see if I have better luck with that. I will clear coat the rest. I miss the days of the Revell varnishes. They were better than this shite from Humbrol.
Like your presentation. Want to get the Arriva DVT added to my existing collection of eleven DVTs. Review any form of rolling stock.
Thank you for the feedback. This is one of those models that is getting very hard to find now and with Hattons being no more. eBay and Facebook groups would be the best bet to grab one. Hope this helps and thank you for commenting.
Good Work.
Thanks buddy.
Great stuff mate! You must have deep pockets 😂 O gauge is not something I’ve ever thought of getting into as barely have the room for oo, but some of the models are seriously impressive and have a real presence about them. Looking forward to seeing Hermes Road take shape 👍
Thanks buddy. To be honest, I have finally embarked on O gauge as I have wanted to do it for a while but I had a few things working against me. The biggest thing I lacked was self discipline and no solid plan to work with. Over the last few months, I decided to ditch all of my N scale and OO/HO Gauge and still in the process of selling the lot off because I am going to live a lifestyle of where "less is more" for me and this little layout will keep me going until I move to Florida. Then the big fun will really begin. The Class 60's came from Rails of Sheffield that were in a sale and they are heavy! Nearly 4kg a piece! I handle them diligently and this will be the last scale for me before I buy a real locomotive for my 50th birthday around 2030. I have always wanted to own a Class 60 and I will bring it to the US for use as a full sized train simulator with something I have never done before. As for Hermes Road, I will be making most of the buildings from card as that will help me make savings on the costs of the ready made stuff. All the best Peter.
Hi Randy is cool thanks
Thanks buddy. All the best Peter.
Some great train sets back in the day, no siding though? 🤔
Sure was back in the day. Nothing fancy in that set other than an oval of track for 1996 but with a modern day locomotive and freight when the real Class 92's were just entering service back then was just enjoyable.
Would be splendid if the trains didnt have the same sounds and floated like Jesus on water, however since this video is 3 years old, im sure the mod dev fixed the sound and them floating
Thanks buddy for the feedback although I didn't make this one. I do appreciate your advice and I hope they can update the mod to be realistic.

Ahyes, ALC-42 road number 300.... Unfortunately it got involved in a railraod crossing collision with a truck, i don't know if it will return to service
I am sorry to hear that. I hope the crew are okay and are not hurt. The locomotive can always be replaced. Peter.
Ash when i am in the class 50 when i go into external view the train applies brakes and slows down to a stop, It is the armstrong pack. Any ideas how to stop this please.
It could be the DSD vigilance system? I usually disable it for this reason. Try using CTRL+D to turn it off. Good luck.
