Here is my latest review and this is a remake of a model train review I did back in 2012 when this model train first came out from Hornby in that year. This one is 60099 in the DB Schenker TATA Steel livery in OO gauge. The model was bought from a collector as it was mint and unused but I have had to tear down the driveline due to grease hardening up like ear wax that jammed the driveline up and it ceased. But once I got it free and running, this one runs like a new engine.
The reference number is R3141 and the model has the painted footsteps that Hornby sadly no longer does this on their newer releases. Let's hope that changes. Also due to reasons that is my own business and no one elses. I am staying with the Hornby Class 60 and in my opinion, the Hornby Class 60 is the best OO gauge model and will be a hard one to beat.
