    Wouldn't it be good if everyone practiced your fire dousing practise, I get so infuriated driving past camps sites seeing unattended camp fires still burning, add in bottles, melted cans, butane canisters, so friggin irresponsible. Hence I carry a ten litre collapsible bucket that can be filled from the river or from our onboard water and douse the things, pick up the bottles/cans, stow them in our rubbish bag, but ha, I only carry so much water and can only carry out so much crap, please people, do the right thing initially. Hopefully you'll educate some to do the right thing, cheers to Timmy, regards.

    Check the pump timing, too much advance will have a fuel rattle when cold, additionally could be tapped clearance might be a bit out.

    @@timmyhasheart pump and injectors were recoed 15000km ago and was running on every so often and it started crap but didn’t make a rattle. took it to a TD specialist and they fixed that problem - TPS set incorrectly, throttle stops set incorrectly, TPS code rectified, retimed to spec (apparently other shop had it timed wrong), and they replaced the glow plug timer and it had been perfect until really cold weather (coolant 8-10 degrees)

    @timmyhasheart3 күн бұрын

    The main 2 things for me is 1. Don’t have to carry petrol and 2. They’re silent so you can cut wood wherever you want 🥷 I still highly recommend a petrol saw for $1000 though, wouldn’t go in there without one. I’ve been using my Milwaukee 18v saw for years and swear by them for the average trip.
