  What many of you don’t realise is this guy was just the scape goat ……. They were all up to it - it was sanctioned by the government. The then secretary of the treasury Henry Poulson, ex-ceo of Goldman Sachs who got a whopping $58million dollar tax break by going to work for the government by the way - was also up to it before going to work for the cabinet…. They got $20 billion dollars by the way. AIG $80 Billion, Merrill bought out by Bank of America - this dude was the scapegoat and people needed a head

  I am not anti gay, my nephew is gay and getting married soon, and I couldn't love him more, but on the subject of religion, religious people that don't believe in the gay relationship, are forced to agree or be prosecuted, they should have their rights too. she mentioned mixed race marriages being illegal not so long ago, sorry that wasn't a religious issue, that was the law.

  So Cpt Sully and F/O Skiles saved not only the passengers on that flight but also this great guy! Kudos to all ATC controllers who do their job like this guy did.

  A disaster happening in your cockpit is not your choice as a pilot or copilot. Let alone ATC. they sit there trying to do what they can but from a whole different perspective. He did a great job and stayed calm, it was traumatising for everyone involved. And everyone did the best job they could under enourmous stress. Not only the right pilot and copilot at the right time but also the controller... Controllers have nowhere to go with their feelings, they don't experience the whole thing from a first point of view and that makes it one of the toughest jobs in the World...

  @@altingashi3927 Churches shouldn't have to. Not everyone gets married in a church though, I didn't. Also the bible is a lot of things, and explicit isn't one of them. It's one of the most ancient and convolutedly translated texts known to man. If it was explicit, there wouldn't be so many different denominations of Christianity.
