Dr. Song: "We have less freedom, when you're told by an insurance company where to go get your treatment/hospital/doctor...if you had some type of single payer system, patients would have the freedom to go whereever they wanted. If you're [Ron Paul] really concerned about freedom, then if you're an employee stuck in a job you don't like, but you're there strictly for the health benefits, if you had some sort of universal system you could take a job wherever you wanted."

Of course what Paul omits saying when he talks about the old healthcare system pre-medicare and medicaid is that literally millions of poorer Americans died of easily treatable illnesses. Its amazing that people fall for this fantasy of charity hospitals, its like his idea that private business will pay for roads out of the goodness of their hearts. There are somethings that only the government can do, if you live somewhere remote the private mail companies don't deliver you the mail, the US Postal Service does because its run to serve all Americans so the profitable routes subsidize the loss making routes, the private one's just don't bother with those as they are all about profits.
Dr. Paul > ALL.
Dr Song = Strawman on Ron Paul. BAM! Take that Ron Paul! What a load of crap. If you support this then you obviously have not examined the ENTIRE issue, as Ron Paul alluded to.
