We have downloaded the color palette but for some reason can't make the TV glow.. any suggestions? We have bloom selected at 0.1 intensity as well.

Yh, but how do you save the weight paint edit? ? Because when i weight paint one ear, & then select the bone in the other ear right after, it resets the weight paint for the first ear I just painted. Do i have to exit weight paint mode & come back in to weight paint or something before it saves the weight paint for the first ear, or something else? ?

I have lost 2 years trying to understand how Unreal works, and I’m done with it. C++ is impossible, and blueprints suck for a big project. Unity is like heaven now, I’m never going to look back at this catastrophe of an engine Unreal is.

Hi, I love your videos. I have a question about the rigging and you are so fast that I can't figure out. Are the leg parts and the foot separate objects or is the whole model one object?

For anyone stuck on the edge part of the intro (sliding the edge of the torso to make the triangular hip shape) - if your model seems to be altering the entire shape whilst you drag, you may have Proportional Editing turned up. Once you drag, a tiny 'Move' window will pop up. On this, make sure your 'Proportional Size' is at minimum. Blender beginner here, only managed to figure this out by chance. Hopefully it helps someone else!

This is such a soothing long track of sounds to listen to. I randomly stumbled up this and after 8 years since posted it's really fantastic. I'm looking to use sounds for some of my animations and this looks perfect.

Would unreal engine 5s nanite end up getting rid of the need to make sure UV scaling would work? Since nanite does all that for you, at least in the sense of creating distant models/lods?

I learned some really valuable tips from just the first 10 minutes of this. I’m now making great looking models and adding more detail with ease! This is easily the easiest to follow and most informative blender tutorial out there. 10/10!

Ironically the thing I took away from this lecture is the SendMessage function. Handy, thank you! Have you ever been to GDC? Me and my business partner are headed over there for next years one, do you have any interest in going? Maybe we could all go together, He's in Melb, and I am south of Sydney :)

Unreal is trash. Also there is no advantage to using Unreal unless you are writing the game in C++. Blueprints are crap.

BTW. Those "end" bones won't export if you unset "add leaf bones". I'm not sure when you would need lead bones but yeah...

I've been wondering about this issue as well, and didn't really want to resort to Datasmith or messing with external solutions. Recently I joined the Project Titan art jam, and found the solution: Go to File -> Import To Level -> select your mesh, then in the Scene Import Options check "Bake Pivots in Vertex". This allowed me to import my multi-part mesh with all the pivots and transforms correctly.
