Additional info:
I've been modeling in Blender since about 2015, but more recently in the past few years. I've been making games and assets in Unity since 2011, and I'm currently working on a multiplayer RTS game called Line War.
I use a Sony FX3 camera with a Sony FE 2.8/24-70mm GM lens. My primary microphone is now the Shure SM7B, and I use a Rode NTG3 shotgun mic if I need it to be out of view. I downgraded to a Focusrite Solo from my wonderful RME Fireface UFX II that I had to sell when I moved from Sweden.
Thanks a lot for watching and sharing my videos :)

@@coachmcguirk8277 maybe the people that aren't helping Unity make a profit. Seems like there's plenty of actual Devs with written statements. Sitting back and just accepting such a terrible decision and even going so far as to defend them by saying leaving them would be an overreaction is pretty stockholm syndrome though

@@shiznitts Your first sentence doesn't make any sense. Anyway, I'm not defending Unity, I'm calling out knee jerk reactionists who cry "IT'S DEAD, EVERYTHING IS OVER" at the drop of a dime. I see this sort of thing happen every week, it's always something... The youtubers profit off of this drama with their clickbait titles and dramatic takes and the sheep fall in line and parrot the sentiment.

@@erwins_arm Yeah, and it was an obvious mistake, which was obviously not going to be put into action. But it was pretty clear that "Unity is dead" was an overreaction because no company is going to kill itself for absolutely no gains when in this position - it's not like these new conditions were in effect yet. I do appreciate the Unity community for fighting back, but I still think people were being overdramatic and youtubers were using this drama as clickbait.

I've recently gotten into trying my hand at some basic 3D creation for a game I want to make, and your videos have been very inspiring. I followed one of your tutorials about creating and animating a little cartoon guy, and it was extremely useful. The style I want for myself is a bit different but still low-er poly (mid poly? lol) but I feel like I'd still be struggling or a lot slower without some of your vids. Reminds me a bit of Kenny - the amount of work you guys do and offer people for free is absolutely insane, and massively appreciated. I hope I'm in the position to pay it forward some day and help others learn, develop and create!

I'm working on an asset pack for the Unreal Marketplace right now and I'm totally going to make a modified version (I need smooth gradients) to use! Definitely going to be giving you credit on my store pages going forward. You saved me a ton of time. Love the channel!

@@bigrush626 Well I use Unreal Engine and he packaged the palette zip with an entire project file so I just looked at how he had it set up in the example project and copied it to my own. I made a few changes like adding a tint option so I could make my assets white and use material instances for dynamic code based changes without needing to export a bunch of mesh variations. Other than that it all worked as expected.

Hey Imphenzia, remember that "Cowboy" minigame tutorial that you did 3 years ago? I loved it! a lot! I found it crazy helpful for my Unity 3d game project. However, I am trying to make my character not only have a "walking forward" and "walking backward" and "Idle" animation, but also have a "jumping" animation every time I press "space". In fact, I even want my character to have a "swimming", and a "sneak-walking", and a "sprint" animation as well. I know that you've kind of already did a tutorial about doing "jumping" animations 2 years ago, but here's the difference: that tutorial that you already did has a character only running forward, not forward and backward. And I have a character running forward and backward. Plus, as I already said: the "Cowboy" tutorial was extremely helpful. So, it would really mean a lot to me if you could continue from that "Cowboy" minigame tutorial, and teach me how to add those additional animations in that same project. :)

Tutorials aside, model things you find interesting. Whether that be cars, sci-fi, architecture, landscapes etc… Or think bigger picture. Have a think about what your ultimate goal is. If you want to create still images, or a short animation. Model items you can eventually use in that.
