Home of the 1 Minute Skate Park Guide. My goal is to travel the world and visit as many skate parks as possible and share the ride on my channel with you! I think you can find out a lot about a city by visiting the local skatepark.
Probably, I’m always at some skatepark in Melbourne 🤘 skate the Westside a lot.

Fun fact, the Chinese word, if written twice is pronounced di and means younger brother. I'm not sure if it has a different meaning written once.
@JoeStuartAU9 күн бұрын
In Japanese it is little brother (same), that was the meaning of my hat 🧢 Interesting that it is written twice in Chinese. Also, you can get replacement boots for cheap for these skates. Usually you will wear out the soul before you wear out the frame.

Good shoes are hard to find and being limited by 100% plastic shoes was never the transport option that can fit into anyones commute and be good for the environment that skateboards are!
@JoeStuartAU18 күн бұрын
Some of the skate brands make their skates from recycled materials and don’t use plastic to wrap them. They also last a long time and we replace parts and not the full skate. I have spoken to lots of skateboarders who go through a deck every month. We keep our skates for years.
@insanogeddon18 күн бұрын
@@JoeStuartAU Cool. Skaters who slam stairs or pros who slam tricks 65hrs a week might burn decks but those using it as transport, a 100% organic bio-degradable carbon trapping, wood board lasts a couple years and besides companies have bamboo boards and some plant one maple tree for every skateboard bought and a tree makes 60 boards so built into cost is a MASSIVE positive effect. Bearings last near a decade, trucks last half that, wheels half that again. That said longboarders who downhill with soft wheels to make "thane lines" are putting microplastics into some pristine mountain environments. Irony is they're often trustafarian types with affluenza who loudly cosplay as environmentalists. Straight cruising though you can't get more enviro. and clothing/shoes can be anything even barefoot and boardies.

So what’s the actual ‘’rule” against no blading in certain skateparks? Just skateboarders judgement, or is there actual enforcement?

The skateparks have a skatepark monitor person who enforces the rules. The rules are made by someone/ some people when it’s built. That’s all I really know about it.
