    @@THEAVERAGEGUY1983 Yeah, those scooters are so much better in terms of speed, but they are pricey and I can't afford it. I bought the G2 Max without doing much research and if I were to make a better purchase, I would have gotten the GT1 for $1500. Oh well.

    You need a Helix ultra DSP to close the loop and tune it like a champ. I will add a front subwoofer.

  • @THEAVERAGEGUY1983
    @THEAVERAGEGUY1983Күн бұрын

    @DavidmachAdo309 that ultra is a 12 channel dsp. It's not enough for the 12 speakers i have in this ride plus the subwoofer. But i believe i answered you alread on another video, i don't know anyone who owns any Helix products that can give me a run down and demo of their system so im just gonna stick to the JL brand i already know of and get their VXI amps that have the DSP built in and call it quits after that. I honestly lost interest in car audio, i don't even crank my system up anymore. It's pretty much at the same volume level as a stock radio. But im glad you are doing a front sub. That was something i wanted to do as well a couple of years ago but lost interest in the hobby, i dont want to go into details as i would be stepping on a lot of car audio youtube channel names and i dont want any problems with any of them. They wanted me to get out of the field and with enough pressure from others they gor their wish granted. enjoy the field well you can and stay clear of larger channels and their following as they may not see eye to eye with you and really cause issues for you like it was for me. Im much happier now with my new hobby and even managed to make real friends and meet a lot of people. 🙏😁

    I fell 3 times before with the first one being the worst with a busted lip, nerve-damaged left hand that lasted for months and a bruised knee! Good thing I was wearing a helmet all those times! Thankfully, I never fractured or broke anything since then and in my very last crash with a pothole, my kneepad took 95% of the damage and only left me with a small cut on my knee! I never leave home without a helmet whatsoever! Helps to be face-shy and introverted on my part that way on covering my face every time! And the moment I leave home, I almost always ride my e-scooter all the way to below 30% battery whether I pick something up nearby or not because I love adventuring so my rides are almost always long!

    Had my first wreck yesterday on my rx7. Had all my gear on in large part thanks to you, since I saw this video b4 I ever purchased a scooter and invested in motorcycle gear with that purchase. I fell in a very similar fashion to you. First thing that hit the ground was my face, then chest, then knees. My knees are rashed and my shoulder is sprained, but gloves, jacket, and helmet stopped me from a trip to the ER. Was going about 20, but it doesn't take much speed when you are standing up. I basically was able to just walk away from it after chilling on the ground for a couple of minutes to regain composure. Just wanted to let you know your experience helped me, and hopefully, will help countless others down the road. And the scooter lived. That thing is a tank if nothing else. Had to realign my lights and mirrors, but it rides fine. So all in all, it went pretty well I would say. Thanks again for sharing!

    @tomsgadgetgarage yeah, ive been thinking about that being my next purchase as im pretty happy with my RS and dont really think another scooter that has the same performance specs would make it feel different. So far im looking at the Segway Xyber e bike with the dual 30 amp hour batteries which is 60 Amps total for long range at a chill speed or the Solar Eclipse 2.0 Race edition, not for racing it but fir the stronger motor and bigger battery. 45 Amps on that one. Im just wondering which one is the cheapest as the Solar is like $6,799.99 which is quite a bit and rumors of the Segway Xyber base model is supposed to be $2,700.00 with 1 battery vs the dual battery model.

    best way to start one you don't need to go the whole 9 yards in making a Facebook group, merch & etc. Just start with a group a friends who's willing to ride at a chill 15-20 mph pace for 10-15 miles. You want it to be all PEV friendly to include as many people as possible. Make sure to add stops every 5 miles or so or sooner depending on the mood of the group. Pick areas with low amounts of traffic and stick to bike paths, try not to get onto the sidewalk or pathways. Scenic routes is preferred & don't forget a halfway point where people could grab food or drinks especially bathroom breaks that's very important. Not everyone can hold it in for 3-4 hours. When picking a meet up spot, choose somewhere like a park or a public place with free parking is best. Even grocery store or Walmart, Target & etc works. Make sure to park on the far side so you don't bother customers. Also when making the routes test them to see is it smooth where your butt & teeth aren't going to be sore. Lastly and this is should be a mandatory thing, everyone needs to wear a helmet. Last thing you want is someone being rushed off to the ER. If you end up with a large group of 15+ directing people can be hard so either tell them ahead of time what major streets you'll turn on or what LAPEV likes to use is light up wands where you have an easier time directing people. Have fun, don't stress on the details and make sure everyone having a good time.

  • @THEAVERAGEGUY1983

    @chrismitsven8544 with Glendale PEV since some have commuters that top out at 20Mph the group leader has a minimum speed requirement of 15Mph and max Mph of 30Mph as that's how fast ive gone on certain areas of the group ride with Glendale PEV. With LA PEV they have a 20Mph speed limit minimum and max speed like 35Mph as most of them have powerful e bikes. Ive onlt gone to one group ride with LA PEV but i actually like the chill group rides with Glendale PEV. As for range that pretty much depends what a person's PEV can do and if it would be able to do the full geoup ride. When we went to the rose bowl there were some outlets available to charge scooters for free so a segway scooter was charging along with a hiboy scooter and we stayed there foe about 30 minutes to give them some time to charge a bit so the smaller battery guys could still make it back to the meet up spot.
