    At 28:00 if you do not see any displacement but just a flat plane with colors: Render engine : Cycles Shader Editor: press [N] Options > Settings > Surface > Displacement : Displacement and Bump

    Not exactly, no. That example looks like you should base it on a single voronoi texture, rather

    how do you know that to lower the center of the fan tiles you have to multiply fantiles with the radius? 28:45

  • @raoulhatterer957
    @raoulhatterer957 Жыл бұрын

    At the center, the radius is zero, so the result of the multiplication will be zero at the center. The farther the points are from the center, the greater the radius, so the more the multiplication by the radius will have an amplifying effect.

    As someone who used adobe master suite for years and then got left out to dry I couldn't agree more. Blender has been such a breath of fresh air. I've also used C4D for years, also replaced by Blender. I thought Blender was meh but its come so far and with the community building and adding on addons not to mention python !? we have infinite possibility!! Stoked

    Hi Simon, I have a nice challenge to you, this is a good tut about arcane style but around 18:35 specular works different in 3.2 and in specular zone you see each hair strand. Can you fix it pls? kzread.info/dash/bejne/eIyptMelnpa-dJM.html

    The solution for the Blur problem is a node, that basically defines the iterations on how often the texture is displaced according to the gaussian function. It's not that time efficient, but it works nicely

    How can you call this a tutorial and skip all the parts you connected the nodes? You altered most of them and some were blatantly skipped from explanation. So fucking stressing pausing every frame of this video trying to grasp the minimal details while not having enough to keep going. Fuck you man

    I'm beyond grateful with you for taking the time and making this for the people who doesn't know a heck about nodes. I only have one question, how can I make the textures appear?, I mean, i'm using blender 3.0 and I have already appended the noise pack to my project, but I don't know, nothing happens, I plugged the noise pack to the material output node but still nothing, am I missing something?

    I've been playing around with scattr and I've noticed that all mapped textures share the same random position/rotation/scale etc. Using more than 1 texture doesn't make much sense because the textures are just on top of each other. Wouldn't it be better if every mapped texture had different random position/rotation/scale?
