  We had MF565 also between 1979-1985 here in Finland . I liked that tractor very much. It was rather modern. Easy to climb on, wide doors. Also The Perkins diesel was very tought. Only Bad thing was that It could not move in deep snow because The front part was very heavy.

  ton taco c'est un 65 mak II 56 cv ça se voit par le carter moteur allongé au bloque de cloche de l'embrayage alors que le 65 mark I 52 cv , le carter était coupé carré versé place de la crépine devant la cloche de l'embrayage mon premier tracteur ! Cordialement Joseph FRANCE

  Yeah not the P6 but the 6354. I have a 6372 the bigger bore that i'm planning on re building. It's rated 120 h.p. Does anyone know any pitfalls with this engine. It's actually a Massey Ferguson aquired engine from a combine harvester. Any information would be a great help.

  This engine is a Perkins 6.354 cubic inches direct injection engine which replaced The larger unreliable R6. The original P6 used the famous Aeroflow combustion chambers & was 288 cubic inches & the last version of the P6 was designated 6.305 cubic inches & this uprated engine looks exactly the same apart from the CAV DPA rotary injection pump mounted horizontally which replaced the inline CAV pump fitted to the original P6.

  Nije ovo P6. Ovo je 6.354, domaca varijanta tog motora jeste S46.P6 je kao na 533 motor ali sa 6 cilindara. Domaca varijanta se zove IM036

  I had Samurai fit a 6.2l V8 GMC diseasel to a Stonefield P3000 6x4 to replace the underpowered Ford 3.0l V6, engine, the 6.2 V8 it's self was good, but I couldn't keep the truck in gearboxes with all that extra torque. Over heating was also a problem and it really needed a much larger radiator. The P3000 weighed in at 5.25 tonnes and was shaped pretty much like a brick, with all that she still managed to reach 90mph in high range at 4500 rpm reading taken from a GPS, those engines could rev for being non turbo. Fuel consumption went from 3mpg with the Ford engine to 24mpg with the GMC and she repaid the installation costs within 6months just with the fuel saving.

  of course y can do it i restored more tractors... my last major we worked on with 3 men... and it was a wreck... as y know what y doing then it aint a problem

  Dude it cant be done in 2 months you must strip the tractor and paint everything with red oxide and 2/3 coats of blue you must paint each part and put it all together again cleaning it is hard work its not done in 2 months i think you have never restored a tractor in your life check my channel out because i have. 1st ford supermajor 2nd 4x4 ford supermajor

  I stripped sanded straightened every panel and painted one in 5 days that was in way worse shape than this. It was my first time taking one all the way apart and my first time doing paint. 3 coats primer sanding between each one 2 coats paint and 2 coats clear on the tinwork. It was 105 degrees so it all set quickly but still on the evening of day 5 I had it together and running again.
