my classic range rover has military spec 6.2 diesel also and yes u can take off on the 5th gear

Have u changed the gear ratio in tranfer box for a normal top speed? These rev lower than tdi dont they? by about 500-1000rpm.? My dream conversion this, be good if it ran on veg oil but them pumps can fail on it.
