Hi there! My name is David, and on this channel, I react to videos, mostly of musical artists (with a focus on a capella).
I consider myself to be a jack-of-all-trades in many ways, and so while my analyses may not go into the extreme depths of many other reactors, I hope to be able to provide a wide range of insight, thoughts, and discussions.
If you enjoy my work, please like my videos, subscribe to my channel, and we'll see where this goes.

Interesting and will need to hear this again to get a full sense of it. It's engaging and complex; yet I can also feel it being used as background music to allow the mind to wander.
Amazing Tommy ❤❤❤❤South Africa 🇿🇦
I always love when you react to and analyse a Tommy video and this did not disappoint. Thank you!
Thanks
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the very generous support!
Love your videos dissecting the music and the performance. Showing all the things we love with Tommy but maybe not even understand it ourselves.
Thanks for another amazing reaction. I could listen to you talk for another hour and not get bored, you explain so well all the amazing little things Tommy does
Thanks David 😊
The dissection and analysis of the video production highlights how complete of an artist he is. Not only are there musical chops, he is skilled at creating a complete product. I don't know of any other channel where I get such an in depth reaction and it's what keeps me engaged in the content.
❤❤❤❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 Thanks
Tommy is a big fan of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and has a huge collection. And yes - it is a reference to Back to the Future. BTTF is one of his fav movies.
That man has one of Swedens largest collection of Ninja Turtle memorabilia, a garage full. Boxes and boxes. He alluded to it in a fanvideo. He has also Gremlins and Delorians out of Back To The Future and one of his tattoos is a line from Spaceballs. He shares that feature with his 2 sisters. You need to listen to his Thunderstruck. He demonstrates every possible way and at least one impossible how to play the guitar riff. This video contains an Easter egg in the first 20 seconds, a nod to an upcoming video. He loves to plant clues that's almost impossible to spot to keep the fans on their toes. Many times above my head. That guitar is really what I call Christmas red, one of his newer aquirements. He can't stop buying guitars. He keeps saying he has about 30 guitars, but I've seen him introduce at least 6-7 since first time iI heard that. One original from Kee Marcello out of Eorope and one original from his idol Gary Moore. When asked, he stated he had Kirk Hammets green on his wishlist.
Voce tambem se emociona com esta apresentação? Acho que voce quase chorou também
If Dan did not credit anyone else on the video, then he did everything himself, including instruments. He plays guitar, keyboard, harmonica - which you will see in a surprising place if you continue with Dan's songs - and he does the drums digitally.
This song wasn't one of my VP favorites. I'm so grateful for your enthusiastic analysis that allowed me to better appreciate how this adaptation came together. Thank you!
This is fascinating because I have never encountered any of the older UK series or even heard the music. Having such a pivotal 'aha' moment while young is so happenstance. If not for that, a love of music may have not surfaced. Wow. I love these little snippets. Hearing people's stories is always a joy.
It's not so much a dark song, as a sad song. Eleanor Rigby is a LONELY person. She's never been married; she picks up the rice where A wedding has been -- someone else's wedding. Presumably she's wishing it had been her wedding. The face that she keeps in a jar is MAKEUP; she's all made up to look nice, but she doesn't even go out. She's waits at the window, but no one ever comes to see her or to take her out. No one comes to her funeral because she has no friends or family -- she's lonely. The priest is depressed because to mourners have attended the service, so his words have no effect. Then, again and again: "ALL the lonely people." Elinor is hardly the only one. Very SAD.
David K Reacts, I subbed to your channel!
David K Reacts, great content
Eclectic is a word to get my sttention. I would have clicked on those words as well. Thanks for introducing me to a rabbithole to explore. Several of those names you mentioned sounded swedish and the sound reminded me of some some studentical orchestras I've encountered. Quick googling. They are a Swedish band. Funny how I've never heard of them. So thanks for the introduction. Superhero Sir Tims meouwing had Hjördis flick her ears and look around, so greetings.
Thanks David 😊
Hello David. I can´t remember ever seeing Thunderbirds in Germany when I was a child. But I remember watching a Thunderbird Movie as an adult. My Husband is a Perry Rhodan Fan and I remember watching Thunderbird with him one time. At that time sience fiction did nothing for me. But I can relate to unforgettable Moments... There was once a time, when as a child, I would sneak out of bed to go upstairs to watch some TV series with my grandmother and my aunt. Your video brought back this memory... this specific series was 77 Sunset Strip. The titel song stayed with me all this time. I learned the finger snapp too. It was so exiting, sneaking out and these guys were cool😊
Iconic music, so instantly there rewatching in a similar way to Dambusters and the Great Escape music hits.... military over tones. or the rinky-dink Panther. 😅 just as iconic. Hoping your journey may take us to some Queen...🤞
Gerry Anderson (and Lou Grade) were very forward-thinking: _Stingray_ was the first UK series filmed entirely in colour, long before anyone here could watch it in colour, and _Thunderbirds_ the second! (The first to be partly filmed in colour was _The_ _Adventures_ _of_ _Sir_ _Lancelot,_ starring William Russell (RIP)). In our house we didn't rent a colour TV until 1973, so it made very little difference to young me. Barry Gray was indeed a significant part of what made the show great. My favourite numbered craft was TB 2 (of course), but my overall favourite was the Mole. As for the characters, I was a fan of John, partly because I felt sorry for him, and Brains because he was clever and awkward. Also, very happy to have some shorter videos that I don't have trouble finding time to watch...
I was introduced to The Thunderbirds some 25 years ago by an online friend from Scotland. I was always super impressed by the puppetry. Thanks for drawing my attention to the music.
What a fun video. I have heard of Thunderbirds, but have never seen it. The first clip you played was so very 60s. Can't wait for more. Scratchies for the beauteous Timmy.
What a blast of nostalgia. This was an incredible show. Thanks for the reaction.
This was so much fun! Thank you for the reaction.
I used to sing this to myself to get rid of unwanted ear worms, which worked surprisingly well. And then I somehow forgot how it went. Thanks for the reminder - especially since my 9year old has recently discovered the hilarity of rickrolling. I’m gonna need it!
I've been looking forward to your reaction and analysis for this medley! Definitely sucks that the video got corrupted so I very much hope you'll be able to re-record. In the meantime, I'll be watching & rewatching this ^^
Thanks for sharing your back story on this iconic piece of music 😊
Thanks David. I loved Thunderbirds growing up 😃
Never heard of Thundrbirds. Growing up during the 1960ies it ought to have come to my notice if Sweden ever had bought that serial for television, so I don't believe that happened. So I never heard it either. My kids grew up during the 1990ies and I ought to have come across it then. By then we had several children television channels going. Me, I was spoiled by Flintstones halv an hour a week. That intro I can still hear ringing in my ears. Thanks for charing.
I had a powerfully positive reaction to this song, and did not know why - your analysis points to some likely reasons. (And I generally hate whiny songs.)
EJ portrayed the voice of Quasimodo in a production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame musical alongside deaf actor, Joshua Castille. You can find two of their performances here on KZread: Out There -: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oIaV2pp7ncS5pNI.html and Made of Stone - kzread.info/dash/bejne/qJyT07KIeNWqf6Q.html . Also, EJ sang as the voice of Hercules for the Disneyland fireworks show, Wondrous Journeys, but you can catch his performance with VoicePlay of Go the Distance here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mWypso-umpO2ncY.html
Sorry, can't do reactors that take 20+ minutes to even start the pieces.
Please react to "On a clear day you can see forever" by Voctave ft Titus Burgess. Such a juicy arrangement for you to get stuck into, trust me 🙏 Great reaction as always!
Aww! Well, at least we got the reaction and you got to chat for a bit about how wonderful Karl is as Facilier. And unless I've missed it, too, I haven't heard Karl deliver a low note like that with Voctave, especially not in a solo line. I squealed the first time I heard it! I'm pretty sure Geoff Castellucci told Peter Barber that Karl's speaking voice can rumble your chest simply by being in the same room with him. :)
TOTALLY DO MY HEART WILL GO ON ❤
❤
I will always have the memory of seeing this performed live ❤
Thanks David 😊
Your joy is infectious. And the applause for this presentation is well earned. It's such an auditory journey.
And I am sorry to hear that we lost the rest of it. That's a lot to deal with. Glad you uploaded the short version.
