    would you recommend this engine over an lrp? ik theyre the same manufacturer but just curious 🤔

  • @TastyBRC
    @TastyBRC3 күн бұрын

    ! Difficult question. The lrp overall quality is better (still not great but better than the original sh) Their quality standards are higher. The SH is cheaper and comes with a better carb. Better option : lrp + a decent carb, best spend a few extra $ and get a picco rebel xl if you need a pullstart or a argus 28 for a budget engine, argus k3 budget race engine 👌

    How do you like the reds pipe with the lrp? I have several reds pipes ive never used. I'm running novarossi pipes on my modified lrp32s currently.

  • @TastyBRC
    @TastyBRC6 күн бұрын

    The reds pipe is not the most balanced pipe but all my engines run very consistent with this pipe, and the temp is always perfect. It is a top end power pipe so fits the lrp very well as it has tons of torque..

    Salut Tasty. Merci pour la vidéo. Crois tu que je puisse mettre le coude et le résonateur de mon picco p3TT avec ce moteur ? Faut il absolument la ligne correspondant au moteur ? Merci à toi.

  • @TastyBRC
    @TastyBRC9 күн бұрын

    Salut, la ligne prévue par une marque pour un moteur spécifique n'est Jamais obligatoire! La ligne que tu choisira changera forcément la courbe de puissance et cette nouvelle courbe pourra te plaire ou pas. Essaie ta picco elle pourrait très bien te convenir avec l'OS. C'est très rare qu'un moteur ne fonctionne pas avec une bonne ligne d'échappement. Mais ça peut arriver. Je roule reds et hipex sur mes OS, je n'ai pas une seule ligne OS

    Salut Tasty J'attend avec impatience la suite. J'ai acheté 2 exemplaires de ce moteur. J'ai mis le premier en service. Je suis en fin de rodage et j'ai du mal a le régler (il monte mal en regime et il n'atteint pas encore un haut régime). Mais c'est probablement plus un problème lié à l'utilisateur (moi) qu'un problème lié au moteur :)

    so just out of curiosity bro... when you pinch the back pressure line and pop the lid on the fuel tank 😅is that a way to prime your engine 🤔🤔

  • @TastyBRC
    @TastyBRC16 күн бұрын

    2 gallons its basically new! i am not surprised by the pinch. A regular force will have much less pinch as its a rtr engine, my f4.6 has less than half that pinch and ran only about a gallon.. but this is definitely a (entry level) race quality engine

  • @TastyBRC
    @TastyBRC16 күн бұрын

    @@neontetra1000 16% by weight is the only fuel allowed in Europe. 16% by weight (of nitro in the fuel mixture) equals 12% by volume... (nitro is heavier than methanol and oil) that is why I call this fuel 12%, the previous 16% nitro fuel, was 16% by Volume! wich equals more or less 20% by weight, that one is banned.

    She sounds good at the end of the vid Tasty 🩷 Nice work I’m Interested to see how it reacts to the stock carb. Pull it all apart for us, if you find something odd - It is always interesting how plugs can affect how the engine runs (even if it is keeping the engine running). They can act erratic but, especially on fresh starts. Then you pop in a new plug and most of the issues can be resolved. That is only something you can learn from experience and doing

  • @TastyBRC
    @TastyBRC16 күн бұрын

    Easy tune with a new plug, sometimes you spend hours trying to tune a finicky engine and the solution to the problem is simple, a glow plug, a faulty bearing, or a fuel line

  • @haywirerc
    @haywirerc16 күн бұрын

    What do you mean by hearing the rear bearing? Like it’s worn and you can hear slip or knocks?

  • @TastyBRC
    @TastyBRC16 күн бұрын

    When the rear bearing is done it sounds like a grinding noise, pay attention you will hear it, you can also check my reds r5r video, the sound was way worst and at that point it will damage the internals

  • @haywirerc
    @haywirerc16 күн бұрын

    I got fuel line bubbles in my LST for months now but I checked my tank and it’s sealed and I have a new carb on my 1 year old engine and just don’t know why. Tank is big so I think it’s a fuel pressure issue and not carb or engine related. I had the same reaction when I inspected the engine and was like there’s no way there’s an issue😂

    My theory is that On road engines are pushed to their limits so I could go as high in timing numbers as a onroad engine. By increasing all the numbers within the onroad engines limits, i can increase the power of any offroad engine, 100% sure (even if I never go that far). I dont know exactly how every number influences the powerband, I am just starting to understand..
