  Beautiful diction, intonation, timbre, pitch and vibrato. Absolutely lovely. This beautiful "Young" lady sounds like a young Karen Carpenter. Excellent guitar accompany Mr. Turner; you both do this outstanding ballad much justice.

  Thank you, Allison, for this beautiful cover. I know this song goes way back but the earliest I can remember it was off an early Beatles album. A good friend had a small record player and was a big time Beatles fan. We would listen for hours of great music. Currently my friend has cancer and is not expected to live much longer but memories will last for me for a long time. Keep up the great work Allie, Burlington Bill busking on the road and here on you tube.

  I often return to this song now and then. I regard Allison as one of the greatest singers in the world, but her songwriting sometimes gets overshadowed by her vocal gifts, which is a shame. She is a brilliant composer, and this song is a shining example. And, by the way, she’s loaded with stage presence and star quality. I’ve never seen anyone more deserving of superstardom.
